I think you can make the decision now with the recent news.

Why would Google want to get into IOS pants? They are so much bigger and ahead. For an example, you have 8 people using Android phones and 2 people using iPhones. But all 10 of them definitely use Gmail or other Google services. xD. The moment you are connected, Google is literally the God.

I also don't think the situation is that dire. Huawei is too big, they have more back up plans and a lot of money to spare. The only reason why US does this is because they recognize that they cannot stop Huawei, thus resorting to these.

hey all. My mom is using Mate 20. After she came back from overseas, switch on the Mobile Data, now can't connect to the 4G/3G/2G or anything at all. Can make calls, but just no internet. But able to connect to wifi. I tried to reset network settings, also don't have any responses. Took out the sim card as well, also cannot. Why ah? It shouldn't be hardware issue since wifi is still working? and yes mobile data is switched on of course.

Using Celcom. And yes she browses internet a lot and yes she has 40GB worth of data still. I tried to swap another SIM card inside and instantly there's 4G (also Celcom), I think there must be restrictions on her SIM card or something. Have to go to the Celcom to check tomorrow.

But when I place another SIM card (Celcom also), it works. So what does it mean? Then it shouldn't be APN issue right?

The other day i was helping my mom to configure/troubleshoot her mate 20 phone, which is like 3 years old. She is in her 60s and you know they don't care about the phone. Drop the phone, filled the phone with lotsa apps and photos and whatever bullshit. She watches Youtube and surfs and video calls with relatives all the time.

And when i was helping her to set up some apps. I realise wow the phone is still so butter smooth! even one of my colleagues who owns a P20 commented that the phone seems to work well despite the years.

Feel really sad for Huawei though, the victim of america's hatred, insecurity and jealousy mostly. They always want to be the most supreme.

Otherwise Huawei does produce good hardware.
