how can i use my mate 20 to play video on my tv screen ?

i have download some movies (mp4 format) in my mate 20. how can i play them on my big tv screen ?

A question: is the lens protector necessary?

guys is mate 20 enough?
or 20 pro is better for value?
since the diff is 40mp camera

P30 is out and the price looks ok. Anyone prefers P30 than Mate 20? any thoughts?

Mate series is higher class then P series, no?

Should I wait to buy Mate 20 pro/X after p30 series release to the market? will the price drop again in april?

As my intention is clearly on camera for travel use, I'm now somehow more towards to P30 when I was towards Mate 20 Pro yesterday

First time using an actual curved screen phone with curved screen protector. I notice that some case cannot be compatible with the curved screen protector as it will cause air bubble back underneath the screen protector, especially on the sides.

Any good case to recommend that can be more compatible with curved screen protector?

the wireless charging is 15W one right? means taking longer to charge compared to wired? right a?

At first, i was also deciding between m20p or p30. But in the end i choose the m20p due to

Heard from reviews that the back super resistance to scratch, so only need to cover the camera there, for the front not sure, because it aint easy to find a good all covered tempered glass for curve screen, personally i dont like those sticker like screen protector

i think so too, but mate 20 and mate 20x are fine due to LCD

yayy, received the Mate 20, and the gift. The phone looks great and wife love it and it is delivered on her birthday exactly. Play around and updated the software, everthing work like a charm.

Told my wife, this is the phone for your next 5-6 years, like the old Note 3

Mainboard replace which mean all data gone,
but thanks to previous backup data and Google Contacts,

SC replaced the mainboard with upgraded version of 8GB RAM & 256GB ROM (storage),
Now my phone feel slightly smoother & faster than before ..

Mainboard cost me RM339 exclude labour due to repalce multiple parts within a month.

Phone is alive now with a replacement mainboard. I was just wondering anyone here successfully able to upgrade from EMUI12 to HarmonyOS 3 by changing region to China? I have tried but update is still not being pushed to me device.

I am using 2nd hand Mate 60 Pro for about 1 months after my Mate 20 Pro dead.
Mate 60 Pro running harmony OS. Which mean I am using the Lzplay method.
The only thing I can't use is Google Assistance (Gemini and Chatgpt can use) and Google Wallet.
Google Find my phone can't use. But can use Huawei Find my phone.
Android Auto I "heard" can't use but I am not sure, I didn't try it out.

The most argument last time was PokemonGo. I tried, no problem.
Native McDonals app can't launch, but we can use Huawei Quick App to launch.

All other banks working fine. Below are the list I use

Oh ya, WhatsApp I backup in Google Drive. No problem as well.

But still after I using for 1 month, due to the Mate 60 Pro is purely for China Market. Some of the small things I feel like not very match with my previous Mate 20 Pro experience.
Is not like it will affect everyday life, just some kacang putih. Below is the list

1) I can't "Hello Google" anymore.
2) The AI feature in the Album app can't work in my home Time internet. For Digi mobile data, sometime also can't connect. Most stable is need to connect to VPN. I tried Hong Kong VPN it works.
3) The some operation of Xiao Yi 小艺 also same like 2). Basic operation no problem like set alarm, on touch light. Only related with command that need to search the web. Like What is the weather tomorrow.
4) The point camera and auto popout TNG app is not support. It only support Huawei Wallet, Alipay and Wechat pay.
Based on my experience, I would say with the help of MicroG, Huawei phone is able to run most of the Google App. For people who what full Google integration kind of experience, I think don't go for Huawei. Huawei is more like an iPhone now. You can install Google App. But you can't get full Google Integration.

Is like you buy iPhone but you can't "Hey Google" kind of experience.
