It's a completely new system, and will take 2 years (estimate of course) to install.

The Regional GL is decent, and basically a smaller version of the main one, with similar food and facilities....

The bus transfer is pretty efficient and maybe adds a few minutes extra....Note that on arrival at the MTB, you end up on the arrival level heading towards immigration....to go back to the departure level AND the domestic transfer, you need to U turn up an escalator....to get to the later, you then need to go down another escalator...and there are no signage....many a traveller who should have done an internal transfer to domestic, ends up in baggage collection, out to the land side, and then need to reenter via the domestic departure....,

Wow, so much of tedious to get back to the departure.
I will spend a longer time this round working there while waiting for my evening flight, I will just go to the Regional GL then. I don't think I will go to PPL this time unless there is a time limit for GL visit.

If my flight is around 6pm, can I check in my luggage around 1-2pm?

no time limit at GL...

MH allows early bag drop within same day anytime....and sometimes will allow a late night bag drop for an early morning departure....

maybe try the new one at MTB....

the T1 PPL is at airside, so once you leave the airside (to collect your bags, you have to), you cannot go back again, unless you have another flight....

pp user now no longer entitle to ppl usage in satellite, the only lounge for pp user is the sama sama express lounge at the end of gate c5 area (where u board the bus)

it was fully packed as well, there are 2 seating area, one for dining and one that is facing the window outside.

i would said it is like kinda downgrade from ppl.

but in bkk, pp users can use oman air lounge which is oozing with class. that day i was the only one in the lounge....

No. Only international flights.

Sama sama service is super slow. The other day I went without crowd tho and it took about 35 minutes to be served. So make sure u have plenty of time to wait otherwise you’ll miss ur flight.

Anyone know which of these cards allow entry to klia2 gateway PPL, and the condition, e.g. domestic flight?

How to know whether domestic flight can enter PPL or just international flight?

For example I don't see the TnC mention it limit to international flight only:

Yes, last year I used pib card to enter ppl klia2 for domestic

yeah i wrote to pp to complain about sama sama express.
it is more of a hotel lobby instead of lounge.
the seating is too packed to be called a lounge.

Hi guys I'm flying to Sarawak from KLIA via MAS, I'll probably try to access the MTB PPL with PB VS or AM VS. My questions are
- can domestic flight ticket holders access PPL KLIA MTB
- info states PPL international, is the domestic and international common area the same? Or I can only access domestic area? Never flew domestic from KLIA before, so a bit confused on the layout, thanks

Domestic and international are separate. U cannot go ppl at klia. They are located after the passport control. So no way u can enter without international boarding pass.

If u like u can take a bus to klia2 and use ppl there. Do check out your entitlement for entry

but i still prefer the satellite one. just entered the new one on last thursday, no window to see the plane like Satellite.

I will prefer the old one than the new one. Or at least the old one still have a fridge for you to take the canned drink, while the new one does not have any
