I tested all 3 cards for a domestic flight today.. only scb was rejected.

The AEROTEL PPL is starting to be like a fish market too...

yeah I agree the satellite one has good view of the planes. But you have to enter very early in the morning

what change from the precovid era? main one is the number of ppl

Most malaysian travelers are under dress, it is a matter of time, airlines lounge in bkk will impose dress code for non airline pax.

I only saw more and more credit card giving so called "Free lounge access" with certain requirement.

The perks of the premium cards are either the same or slightly curtailed....but there are a lot more people becoming eligible and acquiring the cards (both from lowered eligibility and higher income)....hence the number of travellers using the lounges have increased....

In that sense, owning a premium card is no more a "premium" privilege, and able to enter a lounge no more a premium experience....

Eg, when Maybank first launched their VI card, the income eligibility was RM180k...that's exclusive....now it's only RM100k, just half of the original cut off....

Aim to be in higher airline status...can enter lounge for free

need some advise, if my wife and I have CIMB Preferred Debit Card and Aeon Gold Visa CC, can my wife, my 2 teenager kids and myself enter the PPL for free?

Should be able to. As per what I’ve read and understand from the past few posts here. As long you use a different bank’s card (not different card but same bank), then it’s fine. Just “clock in” using your and your wife’s boarding pass will do for your 2 teenage kids. In total you’ll need 4 banks.
Bank A - yourself
Bank B - wife
Bank C - Teen 1
Bank D - Teen 2

Mind you that each bank n card usually allow only 1 time entry per 3hrs usage. So dont think of you can use Bank A for you + wife/teen.

Bank B - My name - My kid's entry
Bank B - my wife's name - My kid's entry

btw, this will be international flight.

do take note the cardholder should be principal unless stated otherwise, if supp card may not be able to access ya

also, for aeon cc, you need to spend rm500 cumulatively per card per access within 30 days before or after your lounge access otherwise you'd be charged the access fee

Hi sifus, I am a noob that has never entered airport lounge before. Coincidentally I own a PBB Visa signature that allows me to enter and I have an international flight coming next month end, so I would like to try enter it with my girlfriend for free. Have a few questions below:
1. Is the free access only available for walk in basis, cannot book online?
2. klia2 ppl can be accessed before passing the international departure gate right? As I checked online
3. Can my girlfriend(not wife) enter with a card under my name?
4. If answer to above is yes, saw from few posts here I will need a different bank card to get free access for her, could you please recommend me some cards that is preferably 0 annual fees, has some benefits outside of spending at travel (eg grocery online spending etc)
P/s: only plan to enter once or twice a year, in Malaysia before flying.

3) if you have another card from a different bank
4) the first page lists some cards
