Any recommendation for card that can access to airport lounge in Bangkok for both principal and supp card? thank you in advance

is it we have to pass the immigration then only to take the luggage?

i wonder if possible if we landed in klia1, then we go to the lounge to eat first. But then i realize the checked in luggage seems like not in our hand.

hi sifu, I will transit in Singapore and will board in terminal 3.
holding hsbc vs and checked on hsbc t&c, SATS Premier Lounge (Departures, Terminal 3) is not in the list.

Can I walk over to Terminal 1 lounge without clear immigration?
If yes, which lounge would you recommended?

All T1, 2, 3 are connected as a common arrival and departure area, and you can freely move through them....I think the only lounge for HSBC is the PPL in T1. Just give yourself enough time to get to your gate.... the PPL and A gates of T3 are opposite ends!

Can. But your bags will be left on the carousel uncollected if you stay too long.

If no check in, no problem. If bags already tagged to another destination, also no problem.

I have done it before, when into the PPL for about 45min, quick shower and some food. On arrival at the carousel, someone had placed my bags at the side, another flight's bag arriving. Just pick it up and exit, no problem...lol

If you are "lucky", like one flight where the bags took 45 minutes to arrive, then cun cun you get your bag as you arrive at the carousel....lol

Question - I got RHB Signature Card after they mati2 want me to apply for it for their (?)KPI... I kesian... so got it... left it for almost 2 years in safe, unused... but kept paying RM25 tax for it every year...



I just noticed that with that card I apparently can get 5x complimentary access to Plaza Premium/Aerotel lounge per year...

me noob just noticed that perk...

All this while I was just happily using my Maybank cards...

So... can I really use those perks even i never swipe the RHB Signature card for anything?

Forgot to report here. Hardly log in to LYN these days.
I used Maybank 2 Premier Cards MU Visa Infinite and SCB WorldMiles to enter PPL at Aerotel KLIA2.


By the way, has the aerotrain service in KLIA resumed? I'm flying to Bangkok in two weeks and on business class, I want to visit the Golden Lounge at the Satellite Building. Otherwise, is the regional GL good enough?

I have always opt for cashback CC but now the cashback is getting lesser and lesser. I want to change to CC to collect air miles, access to lounge will be good to have. I mostly use my CC for online purchases (shopee, lazada, air tickets), insurance, top-up to e-wallet (TNG and Grab), and contactless (F&B, groceries, shopping). I'm looking at HSBC Visa Signature Credit Card and Standard Chartered WorldMiles World MasterCard.

Is there any other cards that I should look into?

Using bus for transit.

Was lucky going the day after my colleague fly off the day before. He had to walked there under rain lol

World miles access is for international flights only. Not applicable for domestic

How frequent is the bus?

The trip is about 10 minutes only but waiting time to board around 15-20 minutes in the morning. Quite a long q but moving. Night time about 10 minutes on weekdays.

The bus transfer is now pretty fast, they will fill the bus and then move, often the next bus already waiting behind. The problem is that some of the buses aren't designed for such transfers and your cabin bags may be a problem.

Will have to bear with this for the next 2 years as I doubt they will bring the old aerotrain back to use while the new train system is being installed.

The entire profession is in a bad state.

No need spend...but only access to local lounges....
