Wahed very slow on putting the buy calls and I suspect it is due to the algorithms calculating on their ETF which has peaked

Their Tesla stake has peaked and it will be interesting whether they will hold of sell off half their shares

Even ARK team said in their live cast with Yahoo! Finance team said that they're not going to throw Tesla stakes despite missing production targets.

ARK will said that because they have been long terms holdersvbut I can foreseen that if Tesla fell below 800 which happening soon a lot of funds will cut their position and take profits

If buying early before split then by all means keep because it’s like the same story like Apple between 2012 and 2014 when the boom is inconsistent

any source or prediction from any expert tesla will fall soon?

guys just a question. if an event of death of an account holder. in their FAQ they said "your executor or administrator is the only person recognized by us. Your executor/ administrator will have to produce a grant of probate or letters of administration " who is this executor or administrator?

Your next of kin ie spouse or parents or siblings or anyone nominated family member through a will

Administrator – the person(s) designated to administer the estate if no executor of will is named.

Grant of probate (GP) – a grant of permission issued by the High Court to the named executor(s) of a will, empowering the executor to administrate the testator’s estate.

Letter of administration (LA) – in cases where there's no will, a grant of probate is replaced by a letter of administration in Malaysia.

ok so just to understand it in layman term. lets say in an event of death of person A that have money in stashaway what will happend then? lets why how his wife/family member is able to access the money

no sure about Stashaway....you need to get the direct answer from them

I'm investing in Wahed since day 1 of their launch. allocate same amount with SAMY every month.

It's slow now cause it's hitting ATH every other day. Same goes with most of SAMY's portfolios. I'm not expecting another 20% TWR this year unless we crash again and bounce again.

seeing some people say deposit weekly, what is the difference it will bring compared to one shot deposit monthly?

difference in their ability to sleep at night.

So DCA weekly can sleep well or better?

depend on the person.

if he can only sleep well after DCA every morning,

if he can sleep well after not DCA after 1 month, also

depend on the person.

if DCA into SAMY also resulting you to not sleeping well, i think you are destined to only FD.

The other thing that has been discussed very extensively is, the intervals of DCAs, and the time taken for investment, money deposited into SAMY today, but how come still don't see it tomorrow?

Take a chill pill lah, that one or two days will not result in significant difference, consistently DCA is the key, others are very minimal.

SAMY and robot investing has been created for us to invest conveniently without all the hassles of buying them ourselves at a very minimal fee.

Steps taken to make deposits have also been made very easy and effortlessly, why do we need to go and worry about not seeing the money being invested tomorrow when the money has been deposited today....?

just keep calm and DCA regularly at your comfortable intervals or when you have extra spare cash (from bonus, winnings, etc), come back and visit your portfolio months later or years later, you would be thankful (fingers crossed).

DCA is mostly a psychological trick to make you less emotional about ups and downs in market

Some people are scared about investing in one large lump sum because of the risks and scared of sudden drop. Then DCA may reduce that anxiety.

Some people don't want to think about timing the market, so they use DCA to make things automated.

Although mathematically and real-world observation shows that lump sum, on average, gives better returns than DCA, some people cannot or will not take that what they may view as a giant risk.

Both get you to your goals if you give your investments enough time, just one might be slower than the other.
