I'm using the Unifi TV Black Box V3.
Installed Projectivy launcher, TV Quick Actions for remote mapping, Streamio, Kodi, etc - No lagging from me.

Ahh... Can't use the white box anymore.

Is there a way to force default quality to high with the new black box? Only managed to find preferred audio and subtitle language.

My parents said they couldn't tell the difference but medium / low quality looks like trash lol.

EDIT: Nvm seems like it will change to high quality after a few sec.

I think starting from today VLAN has been shut down? My dad said he saw a message saying the old silver box we have will stop working by 29 Oct.

Sigh, when I setup the new box they sent (not sure is it v2 or v3) immediately noticed the channel quality is like crap compared to the old silver box we have had since 2012/2013 or so.

I wonder if lg TV web os has unifi tv 2.0 app or not. If it does I'll just unplug both silver and new box, and get them to use the app from the TV itself. More senior friendly that way, just TV and nothing else.

I'll have to do some testing once I meet my parents again.

Im using the 2.0 apps on MITV downloaded from Playstore. After using sometime, the apps will hang. Need to clear data (try clearing cache but still fc) and relogin.

White box still working as usual on VLAN here just now. No notices pop-up either.

So far I have watched an entire series on catch-up section using Unifi TV 2.0 on Sony Android TV 12 Google TV and there are no lags, hangs or crashes.

My tv 2.0 failed to connect via Ethernet

My id already migrate from unifi tv 1.0 to unifi tv 2.0 but i still can use on stb white color with VLAN.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

out of sudden today i open unifitv 1.0 from mobile and it says my account migrated

then i login 2.0 and drom my samsung tv also
both working

i never receive any sms or email that my account is migrated

The new unifi tv 2.0 is really frustrating.. for old people..
Now my MIL can't watch tv.. the ui is really cumbersome.. 😣

I guess for the newer white box it still works. But the older silver box isn't anymore.

mine just a week ago.. my MIL using the white box.. then changed to this new 2.0 really troublesome for her.. i have to install TV Malaysia app with other launcher to ease the navigation.
but yesterday she told me the sound 'on off' pulak.. and laggy..

My new unifi black box has this screen on off issue, black screen for 1-2 seconds then ok.

Then now no sound at all need to turn off on again then ok.

Box problem or something in configuration that I need to adjust?

As of today, my white STB still able to watch using iptv dedicated port even account been migrated.

At first there’s something wrong with the Ethernet on new tv box while nothing wrong with the white box at all, I tried to use wifi but it’s so laggy, then I changed Ethernet port on the modem or router side and off wifi on tv, so far no more problem.
