Update on my case. Today received call from TM 03-88932000 number.

The officer said my current unifi plan (Unifi Home 300Mbps - Pro Upgrade at RM99/mth) not entitled to subscribe the new unifi TV packs. If I want to proceed, will need to change to RM129/mth 300Mbps plan with renewal of 2 year contract. Only then can subscribe for the new tv packs.

I told officer why then send me sms, emails and notices in myunifi app that I can switch my tv pack. That constitute false advertising and also misleading current unifi subscribers.

She has the nerve to ask me if I want to proceed with the change. I terus rejected her.

Same here, mine is RM90 500Mbps packages.
She ask me create new account to register the UnifiTV2.0.. but still they forgot inside need IC verification.

HQ just call me again this morning, will pass to unifitv team and give me answer. She said the above one maybe is agent reply.

Once you are upgraded to Unifi 2.0, you will no longer be able to use unifi 1.0, TM forces you to use the new Unifi 2.0/Unifi CL app.

The box is yours and you are able to sideload apks for now, although I am unsure about the custom roms.

The new v3 box is technically faster but the new app has a higher tendency to hang or crash.

VLAN STB (the white box) still works. Both old (VLAN) and new (Unifi TV 2.0) box works. Let's see how long the old one works. Everyone should be upgraded to Unifi 2.0 by 11 November according to schedule.

I was subscribed to Max Plus Pack and it should have HBO Max subs with other 6 apps but it didn't show up on streaming apps tab, only HBO Max available

Already reported to unifi since last month and they opened case with no update. Not only that but I'm stuck with build your own pack which is useless since I already have full channel with Max Plus pack.

I registered for it and the universe app not working. Already ask CS and they said standalone can't use any appAttached Image

Thanks. Already using this new box for the past few days running ver 1.47.xxx. Sideloaded a few apps. No option to upgrade to 2.0 unless its the standalone unifi tv apps which is the same as the one preinstalled in the launcher/box itself. So far no issue.

I'm really suffering with the new box and since Unifi 2.0. It always hang (show the round thing) when change channel, tried restart many times. It it because it require additional resources, will an new router helps?

I faced this exact issue when I first subscribed to Unifi TV standalone last month.

At that time, I couldn’t access my Unifi TV subscription summary on Unifi UniVerse and could only manage it through the Unifi TV Portal. Out of frustration, I ended up creating a new Unifi TV account using my passport instead.

This time, however, I registered for a Unifi Digital ID on Unifi UniVerse before subscribing to Unifi TV. The system then merged both accounts for confirmation, allowing me to finally manage everything directly through the Unifi UniVerse app.

Since I ended up with two Unifi TV accounts under the same name (one registered with my IC, which I wanted to delete, and another with my passport), I contacted a TM agent through the Maya portal to request the removal of the IC-linked account to avoid double charges. The agent promptly managed to delete my first Unifi TV account tied to my IC.

Wired LAN or Wireless?

For my case my box is 3rd gen and using Wired LAN and no issue hang. Can switch channel immediately.

First I was using wireless, then yesterday I tried wired, but still same issue. Is there different settings for Wired LAN? I just switch off Wifi in the box and it connect via eternet

What's your subscribed speed?

Remember the box try toggle off wifi then try again.
