Change PIN only accessible via https://unifitv.com.my or Unifi TV 2.0 mobile app:

My Account > Reset PIN > Verify OTP > Create new PIN > Done

I see......

Another issue, when I turn on the power of the new box, even in standby mode, I can see the box broadcasting Bluetooth "TVPlayer" on my phone and laptop.

Apparently I can connect to it from multiple devices, is there any way to disable this? I don't want my neighbour to connect to my box. hmm.gif

You can try to rename the box first. See if it works.

Settings > Device Preferences (or System) > About > Device Name

In most cases, someone cannot fully connect to your box without you physically accepting a pairing request on your TV screen.

Exactly. So read again.

TL;DR: Please select the streaming app of your choice first, then proceed to the next steps. You won't be charged for the first month until your next Unifi bill.

Just realise the tvbox automatically turned on from standby whenever there is a pairing request.

Although I cancelled the pairing every time when it popped up, but it is kinda annoying when my neighbour tried to pair it multiple times in a day sweat.gif

Um, how about this?

Switch Bluetooth off, then use the Google TV or Google Home app to link your phone to the box.

Ensure the same Google account is signed in and both devices are connected to the same Wi‑Fi.

For some reason the Unifi TV Box keeps installing the Android TV version (com.tm.unifitv.tv) of Unifi TV 2.0 app which is not needed since the Unifi Custom Launcher (net.oregan.onyx.tm.unifi) itself is already Unifi TV 2.0. Uninstalled the app, put the box in standby mode for 10 seconds. Turn it back on and the app is back. Can repeat as many times.
*
Now it no longer auto-install the duplicate Unifi TV 2.0 app after I uninstalled it.

As of today, my white STB still able to watch using iptv dedicated port even account been migrated.

Yes still working. Though it is still connected and working, everyone here including senior citizens are using the Unifi TV 2.0 app installed on TV instead of the box.

Last time Android TV also like that, no way to hide Bluetooth then halfway watching something neighbour try to pair and fullscreen popup with pairing PIN. Now my Google TV is no longer broadcasting Bluetooth all the time.

You’ll get only basic 16 free channels & limited free VOD on Unifi TV app afterwards.
