Yeah I think the unifi self care system is not stable yet. I requested for an upgrade from ultimate to ultimate Max on Sunday. They are still showing order in progress even though the box reached yesterday. You did upgrade or new subscription to unifi TV?

I just had online chat to the customer service regarding the delay of the upgrade
They said they will get it done in 24 hours bruce.gif

Update: They have finally sent me the link to activate Netflix around 5:35pm, 3 hours after I complained to them rclxms.gif

Apple tv 4k got 4k on disney hotstar, but when i connect with unif plus box only got 720p.

720p bit sweat.gif at least 1080 loh, might be disney+ app limit it if hardware cannot support

my iphone also 1080 only, although is recent model, could be due to iphone no 4k res

The app has a bug. Plug it into a 1080p tv and it's limited to 720p only, but if you plug the same hardware into a 4K tv, the resolution is all unlocked. So it's not the hardware issue

The cause i cant login Netflix under Unifi account is because i accidentally click another order and now need to wait the other order to cancel only i can login to Netflix.

i chatted with unifi, was told:

.. the box IS required to activate; cannot activate with phone or Android TV.

.. the box will arrive within 5-7 working days. dry.gif

every new netflix subscription comes with new box + 2 yr contract - according to what i read.

on a general note, i dunno what u guys think of unifi way of doing things.

i find them quite confusing or they r confused themselves with diff staff in diff depts saying diff things.

.. unifitv app, myunfi app, selfcare app, unifi.com.... why do they not consolidate all these portals?
.. + online chat, emails, sms, phone calls, walk in to TM...
.. info u get by calling 100, or online chat or in person at HQ are not always consistent, often in conflict.

i get exhausted when trying to change things with unifi. sad.gif
i hv not contacted them for last 6-7 years for anything but had to for netflix.
not a smooth experience when u want them to get something done.

Becuse they are an ISP company offering TV, and not every branch pf that company keeps up with each other. But helpdesk all lump together
