SPO TV and SPO TV 2 are sports channels. They carry most FOX Sports' programs in South Korea before they plan to takeover most Asian markets.

They started airing MotoGP last weekend after taking getting Fox Sports's SEA licence from Dorna. I presume it will be similar for F1

Replacement channel nothing special.

Although these replacement channels look very attractive, however most of them are reserved for Ultimate pack only. This doesn't look good.

Existing customers that stuck with Aneka or Ruby pack bundled with unifi home package will be screwed the most due to less channels selections. No more Fox/Star channels for them, and these replacements like HITS, AXN/GEM, CM/CCM etc are for Ultimate pack only.

I think that unifi will upsell them to Ultimate pack upgrade (RM199+ excluding taxes for 300mbps+Ultimate). However unifi should also allow these subscribers to drop the unifi tv package altogether (with recontact maybe). Otherwise expect more subscribers to move out to other fiber ISP coming this October. Many that taken YEP 2019 promo are expected to finish their two year recontact after October.

After this month Ruby pack only with 3 Chinese channel 🤣.
Even Varnam got 9 Indian channels .

Oops these replacement channels suddenly disappeared from unifi tv website (that link above)

So take these as just unconfirmed yet, maybe take time to finalise the post-October offerings

Btw for MotoGP fans using Unifi TV, since SpoTV will only be added on the 14th of Oct, they will only miss one race (the US Grand Prix on the 3rd of Oct)

No lah. They just want to see whether people can see the changes on their page (more like a preview mode.)

Less and less Chinese channels. Sigh

But at least now we have the rough idea on what channel replacements will Unifi TV offer...
Now they just have to handpick some of the new channels whether to include in vernacular packs (Aneka, Ruby, Varnam), or not.

Now they've revert back to the original/existing Ultimate Pack offering, without the new channels.
Maybe TM haven't finalise whether would all of the new upcoming channels to be included on either vernacular packs or not?

Since when Unifi TV has "a lot" of Chinese channels anyway? Or maybe TM could handpick Celestial Movies and CCM to include in Ruby pack?

No Hbo Group ( HBO, Cinemax, Hbo Hits, Hbo signature and Hbo Family) at Unifi TV, maybe astro can't give it to unifi tv.

It's not astro fault, it's better those channels going ads free rather than bloated with unifi cuts. Probably same reason why NHK world premium was pulled out.

Yeah. Astro paid a lot to HBO for their VODs and contents. Unlikely they would be allowing a rival like Unifi TV showing the same contents
