What's more astro has acquired BBC content which means another exclusive losing for unifi tv. (Interesting enough though, astro opt out from cbeebees (children channel from BBC) but most of content like First SVOD, Earth, lifestyle etc is landing astro starting now)

Ultimately unifi tv will be stay uncompetitive against astro, even those leftover rights from fox sports i don't think they can acquired everything, like no more F1, next month need move on to Sooka/arena2 for some F1 live or go for high seas

Ironically Unifi has GEM. I was surprised Astro didn't pick it up. For a J dorama addict like me, that is a great addition

Also fwiw, MotoGP had a larger fanbase in this country. Loosing F1 but retaining MotoGP is not too bad for Unifi, especially since there is the enigma of SpoTV 2, which Astro didn't pick up. They might have more sports content in the end

I'm on ruby plus pack(which is I have registered unifi last month and got this pack but only unifi play only), but GEM is out of this pack, can I subscribe this channel via ala carte option?
Then Can I subscribe SPOTV2 ala carte only? Or need to subscribe both SPOTV channels together?

They haven't been launched on Unifi TV yet. Who knows...maybe GEM will be included as part of Ruby Plus Pack. As for SPOTV2, I think you can subscribe to it as ala-carte channel, but it may be more expensive than upgrading to Ultimate Pack.

Agreed, unifi has been uncompetitive for years now, hence astro continuing to monopolize the market.

aztro charge too much, only rich people or sports superfans can afford.

check prices of all others around the world, they aren't as high - relative to GDP or income per capita in this land.

SPOTV actually absolutely different channel than what air in south korea.

Lionsgate Play will be launched in Malaysia soon. Unifi TV subscribers can subscribe to it with a special price of RM 14.90. Non-Unifi TV subscribers need to pay RM 19.90 to access it. It will be included in selected existing Unifi TV packages (possibly Ultimate Pack or upcoming new pack(s)).

Another good move but the price can be cheaper like Astro..Add on Rm5...If 15+ can go for Netflix with share account.😅

Cannot lah! Astro asks for RM 7.50 for those who subscribe to Value Pack and Disney+ Hotstar (around RM 60), which is almost the same price as Ultimate Pack. If more people subscribe to Ultimate Pack, they will include more OTT apps in the pack. 😅

hope so... then at least dun feel so bad losing all the FOX channels!

Also Astro has exclusivity deal with Hotstar. You either can get it through Astro or standalone. No other pay tv provider can offer it
