I have latest Tx3 mini-A too.
It has BT, & 2.4/5G b/g/n WIFI

Mind to check the internet speed. I got only 25Mbps for internet speed.

Mine one also same if use wifi. Ethernet better.
Either antenna or firmware issue.

The TX3 has no external antenna, so it is quite possible the built in antenna has poor reception as you cannot orient it to optimize reception signal. So TX3 wifi whether it's 5G or 2.4G, it is going to be quite hopeless.

LAN it is based on 100BaseT, transfer speed should be closed to 100 Mbps. Getting 25 mbps from LAN cable is unacceptable. It should be 50 Mbps or more. Maybe change the cable.

Did you placed any cap speed at router?

Nope because I have no problem getting 100Mbps with my phone. Just now I use Ookla app to test and get 50Mbps. Still far away from 100Mbps. Will try with new cable when available.

if nominal 100mbps, and u get wifi 50mbps on the box, it is good.

if u use LAN cat 6 cable, u should get 105 mbps.

yr phone is likely a better MIMO ac 5ghz device, so u can get full 100.

phones or boxes or pc or tablet... this "WIFI-router sucks" issue been trashed to death a zillion times in broadband section with a thousand experts in a hundred threads.

Yeah agree with you, and quite surprisingly many users here are always willing to admit they are TX3 owners, but very few willing to tell you what internet speed they are getting from the box.

Sounds like they have never tested the speed of the box, particularly from the wifi ( including 5G). Many tvboxes have very poor wifi performance.

I am using 100mbps unifi, when using wifi it can reach 30mbps max.
When using ethernet, the value is double.

For the purpose of AstroGo and even 4k youtube streaming, 30 mbps is already adequate, if the 30mbps is consistent.

Didn't check. Was in a hurry to get it all setup for my new place. AOTG working was all I cared about at that time. I plan to get another unit for my own use. Will test later.
