think twice before you buy.

the model in the pic is tanix tx6, uses allwinner chipset.
u may want to wait a bit and explore a supposedly new tanix tx3 s905x3 now in discussion.
as to applications, the base apps are all the same whether u buy from x or y; the extras, ahems.... which i find zero value, can easily find elsewhere.
support... it depends on individual seller... frankly, for rm1xx, dun expect the greatest service or attention from any seller.
yep, "TX3" has been bastardized by many sellers, OEMs... becos orig Tanix TX3 mini/Alice UI was/is a big winner.
there is no concrete evidence that this tx3 s905x3 is officially from Tanix... yet... it's not on their website, not on gearbest website which is a major retailer.
the only indication it is from tanix is this respected website androidpctv.

Price is very fine.
I paid rm178 for 4+64bg, would have paid 158 for 4+32.
Will know ETA tmr, probably.

If I had the $$$ to spare I'd buy the Tanix branded one to compare the boards.
BTW, both are running DDR3.
Should I have bought a different brand and product running the S905X2 + DDR4 instead?

i am only interested in certain specific features in any box.
no interest in gaming, netflix HD/4k or NAS.
km9 pro is ATV... can do netflix HD/4k?
ATV... a risk it will not do astrogo... but that's not impt to u, i think.

Mind to check the internet speed. I got only 25Mbps for internet speed.

I flashed the ROM using Amlogic Burning Tools latest version.

There are 3 different ROMs for specific TX3 Mini wifi model . Check yours before download and flashing. I used HWinfo app to dabelcheck.

1) 2019 - ap6330
2) 2018 - ssv6051 (my model)
3) 2019 - rtl8723bs

Requirement;

1) ROMs is as per above model only.
2) Before upgrade to Android 9.0, make sure your device running on Android 8.0. If u still running on Android 7.0, u can first flash the Android 8.0 Rom

Guys, I don't like the Alice UI launcher, anyone here tried other launchers that really works on this box (tx3 s905x3). I'm happy now, AOTG and Playtv@unifi works just fine.
Btw. I have connected my Ugreen USB Ethernet adapter (previously used for MI Box S) on this box and I'm getting good connection around 250-280MBPS (subscribe to 300MBPS)
