I received my TX3 yesterday. Just test a few apps. PlayTV not working out of the box (the seller installed for me). The screen hang every time I opened the app. But after update to latest version (via app store), it works perfectly.

Netflix video quality is really bad for my 1080p screen. May be worst for 4k tv.

Don't have astro account so didn't try it.

becos there are 3 models with this "TX3" - tx3 mini, tx3 max, tx3 S905x3.

can be android 7.1.2, 8.1 or 9.0... depending on model and where/who u buy from.

yes, netflix will be poor... becos all 3 models is L3, u get SD 480p quality only.

spend 5-10x more on another box if u want it in HD/4k.

the one i quoted originally... latest info says it's now somewhere on a boat in the south china sea.

Actually not really into watching Netflix with this box becoz of the content not suitable for kids. Just for the sake of testing.

Mostly I use just for YouTube and also playtv.

Anyone check their internet speed with this box? Mine only get around 20-25 Mbps using http://speedtest.tm.com.my/. Check both with wifi 5g and lan cable.

Yeah I know that. Have to unplug lan to use wifi and test with both connection. But I want to know if the speed is normal to get only 25Mbps. I use unifi 100 Mbps and I have no problem getting that speed with my phone.

Quite terrible to have that speed if you tested it on LAN cable. If it is 5GHz, then it could be due to too far from the router or blocked by too many walls.

are you sure your tx3mini 2/16 got 5ghz wifi?

Mine has 5Ghz. And bluetooth too. TX3 Mini-A from Shopee seller 3aonline.

So did you test the LAN speed or the 5GHz speed of your box ? What did you managed to achieve ?

if really 5ghz only maxed 25mb then not so good

with 5ghz
my handphone can reach max my internet speed 300mbps
my tx6 LAN 90+mbps & 5ghz can reach 130-140mbps
