Tx3 s905x3 model....

I was hoping tvboxstop will come out with a video review of that tx3 but this one came out instead, this morning.

X96 Air, uses s905x3 too... so, a lot will be similar.

I could have just paid RM113 for the 2/16GB model since I wouldn't be playing games on it.

If I had the $$$ to spare I'd buy the Tanix branded one to compare the boards.
BTW, both are running DDR3.
Should I have bought a different brand and product running the S905X2 + DDR4 instead?

nah.. will only posts some comments here.
i am only interested in certain specific features in any box.
no interest in gaming, netflix HD/4k or NAS.

km9 pro is ATV... can do netflix HD/4k?

ATV... a risk it will not do astrogo... but that's not impt to u, i think.

2+16gb is actually acceptable if use is basic, no gaming - like tx3mini.
but 2+16 model does not get u BT or 5ghz; 4+32 does.
i went for 4+64 since it is only RM20 more to get more storage which i can use with p2p apps like kodi quasar.
very convenient to stream tv shows and save at the same time so that next person can watch later - i mean the whole season.

i actually read and watched all that is available on s905x3, incl those in russian!
while i felt good enough to buy one, i will be very curious about a couple of things, particularly the audio capabilities.

i have a tx3mini->converted->tx3 max, a tx5max.
this tx3 s905x3 will be the 3rd tanix.
cheap enough, so ok to get it.
i use 4 boxes on multiple tv's, incl home theaters.
2 himedia's still in use, want to retire the older one.

i'm using 3 box now

lg web os until recently astro go died out
1. hypptv box - now hypptv coz can use remote. previously using app like aDrama, teatv, morpheus, livenettv, showbox, mobrorss player, viu, astro go
2. tx6 4/64 - astro go (most important EPL) & app mentioned above
3. apple tv 4k - less use use to mirror pic & apple music from iphone. maybe later subscribe apple tv+ & arcade

you have any link for kodi that i follow and install myself? until now im still newbie on kodi


so far im satisfied with tx6 temperature 80c+ and watching EPL & it will go down till 60c+ when i check using Aida64 or CPUz

kodi... this once great app, i now only use it for local usb playback and one addon, quasar.

it is a fairly complex app... imo, it is a case of too much input, not enough output.

my TX3 2+16 model that use 905w dont have usb 3 also. Not just no 5Ghz.

Right... hence, there is tx3 s905x3 with usb3, hdmi2.1, bt, 5ghz, 4+32gb.... for rm50 or so more than tx3 mini.

Seriously, if u want to get another one, wait a week or two... read what the guineas pigs say first.

Hi guys, I installed Unifi TV for tablet from play store...log in and try to play and got this playback error...

Does this mean I need to call 100 to inform them my TX3 MAC?

Previously I only log in Unifi TV from my phone; no other device.
