I've just started using Grab app actively recently. How do we calculate the points earned? tongue.gif

1) Gold member. Paid at restaurant by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM25.75 & points earned is +386 points. (It's 14.99xxxxxx times amount.)

2) Silver member. Paid GrabFood by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM23.00 & points earned is+69. (It's 3 times amount.) - This one I know how to calculate.

3) Member. Paid at restaurant by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM86.50 & points earned is +865 points. (It's 10 times amount.)

I'm confused. hmm.gif

1) in-store base is x10, since Gold have x1.5 modifier. = x15
2) GrabFood base is x3
3) in-store is base is x10

I know this table but I don't understand how to derive x10 or x3 from the table. tongue.gif

I think should be as follows.

1) 2.25 x 6.6 = 14.85

2) 1.5 x 2 = 3

3) 1.5 x 6.6 = 9.9

Am I right?

Correct, but the 6.6x is actually 6.66666666...x which translate to 15 instead of 14.85

I come across a notice that states TGV cinema will stop accepting grabpay and boost. Does anyone know the exact date when will that happen?

Effective 2020, it will be quite simple, where each Ringgit is 1.5 points (2.25 for Gold, 3 for Plat)

Err, but who knows maybe they'll announce something new later on?
Like, extending the point multipliers or something. It's too early to say for now, isn't it?

quickly perform many scan & pay transactions at pysical stores to gain 20x points (platinum) by 30/9, after that points will be reduced to 9x during 1/10-31/12

Can anyone confirm if thundermatch accept grabpay? Don't remember seeing grabpay sign at lowyat thundermatch.
