Which credit cards give the best cash back when topping up your grab account?

I think it varies. And there's probably also like a limit.

Hi all, may I know what is considered "In-store Purchases" under Grab? I'm trying to complete a challenge which requires this. Thanks!
*
It also probably varies according to the city really. Some of those listed on the Grab website may no longer be available and there'll be those with the in-store purchase that's not listed on the website.

Guys, i frankly think with the reduction in the points multiplier it spells the end for grab as a medium that actually catered for the best interest of its consumer. I.e. im pretty sure the bills feature will only kick in once the multiplier reduction comes into play from 1st October onwards. It really is disappointing if all this turns out to be true! What do you guys think?

By then have to judge which is more useless haha, whether Boost or GrabPay
*

Probably those residing in Klang Valley only. I'm not so i didn't get invited to it. Anyways, what is the benefit of this paylater? Do you get more points? More rebate? If not, i wouldn't use it for sure cuz i'm already acclimated to the way things are right now.

All grab services
No matter grabcar/grabpay/whatever

Platinum user is 3 points
Platinum user x3 points

Total all services get x9 points.
No changes for billpay.

Big changes for grabpay. Now enjoying 20 points
*
I have a hunch that they're waiting till this kicks in before implementing thr bills fearure for all. But if that's really the case, why would paying bills offer the same points per RM after the revision as it is for some of you right now? 🤔

I always hear this maybe someone can verify, but I can at least confirm that for GrabFood, can charge direct to card and still earn max points.
I once tried to charge direct to card for in-store payment but failed, anyone has managed to do that?
*
You can't. There is no feature to make the switch.

No worries but this is exactly why we should all be careful when topping up our e-wallets. Make sure it's the right amount appearing on the screen before going thru with it.

Guys, last 3 days to use grab pay at merchant to enjoy 20 points per ringgit spend.
Which is 12%

October on wards you only rewarded 9 points.
Which is 5%

Just bought lots of medicine from big pharmacy to collect points. 6 months of medicine supply
*
Agreed. But tbf, in east Malaysia we only have plenty of restaurants as options as opposed to things like a pharmacy. So, we can't mobilise at this period anyways. Just have to accept that things stand as it is.

We have no choice but to wait until 1/10/19. I guess Grab only open the function to certain group of users. They are restricting other users from collecting points. I’ve contacted Grab support about this matter. It seems there is no urgency for them to solve my issue. They know I’m blocked for known reasons.

Just realised that you also have Citi card.

That's precisely what i think is going on.

Any reason to use grab pay now that they have revised their point structure?
*
I frankly think this is obviously a subjective question since different people carry out different activities and the various e-wallets available might cater to these different activities best so it's incredibly difficult to objectively grade all these e-wallets in the same manner. But from what i've experienced i think that grabpay is still generally the best in despite the introduction of the points revision.

This is so sincr grabpay still wins in the rewards aspect hands down! It's the only e-wallet where what you see is what you get. Unlike all other e-wallets that seem to commonly offer cashbacks that range in value(i.e. When i spend RM10 on boost i've received cashbacks ranging from RM0.10 to even RM 0.50),whereas with grabpay i receive a known amount of points which in my opinion is better since accumulation of points to redeem rewards is undoubtedly the safest bet if you're seeking to obtain the most out of an e-wallet system which if you're not, there's no point in venturing into this domain!

In short, i'd suggest grabpay as the top choice closely followed by boost in places where grabpay is not accepted(*which is quite a lot). I hope this helps!(*i've copied and modified from a post made on other threads. Regardless, i still think that fundamentally this still applies.)

Grab has not opened this feature to all the users. According to them, this is still in testing. If you really want to be part of this, you can try to contact support.

What did they say exactly?
