It seems that not many merchants accept GrabPay. Coming month I can top up GrabPay using YOLO 10% - RM200 (CB RM20) and Citi CBPV 10% - RM150 (CB RM15). Not sure where I can spend the RM350 since I don't take Grab rides. I can't find a good list that merchants accept GrabPay.

QUOTE(msa9696 @ Sep 10 2019, 08:49 PM) If not mistaken, don't click scan and redeem. Think they normally clicked the button below it (something like "unable to scan"). I went & checked out the Petronas nearby my home, the cashier said they know how to redeem the Mesra e-voucher using Presto. So I'll try to purchase my 1st e-voucher from GrabPay. Once clicked, it will just ask for them to key in their petrol station code. After key in then it's done. I've tried at about 5 different Petronas, all without issues, but of course some are a little blur, some more expert |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Sep 11 2019, 02:51 PM) Once you find an accessible Petronas that knows how to handle the Prestomall PeV then it's really convenient. I've been using them since last year. I was lucky that the Petronas that I frequent accepts them with no problem. Totally stopped using PGCs. What is "PGCs"? |

I asked them to confirm with supervisor. Supervisor asked if the voucher from 11Street. I said 11Street = PrestoMall. Then she said no issue. Haha |

I've just started using Grab app actively recently. How do we calculate the points earned?
1) Gold member. Paid at restaurant by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM25.75 & points earned is +386 points. (It's 14.99xxxxxx times amount.) 2) Silver member. Paid GrabFood by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM23.00 & points earned is+69. (It's 3 times amount.) - This one I know how to calculate. 3) Member. Paid at restaurant by GrabPay. Transaction amount RM86.50 & points earned is +865 points. (It's 10 times amount.) I'm confused. This post has been edited by jefftan4888: Sep 13 2019, 03:47 PM |

QUOTE(adbacc @ Sep 13 2019, 04:39 PM) 1) in-store base is x10, since Gold have x1.5 modifier. = x15 I know this table but I don't understand how to derive x10 or x3 from the table. 2) GrabFood base is x3 3) in-store is base is x10 Below image for your reference (until 31 September 2019) ![]() I think should be as follows. 1) 2.25 x 6.6 = 14.85 2) 1.5 x 2 = 3 3) 1.5 x 6.6 = 9.9 Am I right? QUOTE(kkdavelim @ Sep 25 2019, 12:24 AM) Bill pay get 9x. "Every 165 points needed for RM1." - Where do I view this? For an example RM100 get 900 points. For grab pay merchant redemption, Every 165 points needed for RM1. Which means spend RM100 get 900 points Also equal rebate of RM5.45. Bill pay gets 5.45% Well this is benchmarks on when you use this to redeem grab pay deduction. If you use this to exchange voucher for grab car or grab food it will be around 5-7% max. |

QUOTE(siawyent @ Sep 24 2019, 09:21 PM) mind to share how to make it more than 10%? Citi CBPV/CBV 10% (spend capped @ 150/100) -> GrabPay (?x Grab points) -> BillsDon't think is the upgrade problem, my wallet had upgraded but also don't have that function. HSBC AMP 8% effective 3/10/19 (spend capped 187.50) -> GrabPay (?x Grab points) -> Bills Are you using iOS or Android? |

QUOTE(siawyent @ Sep 28 2019, 11:06 AM) We have no choice but to wait until 1/10/19. I guess Grab only open the function to certain group of users. They are restricting other users from collecting points. I’ve contacted Grab support about this matter. It seems there is no urgency for them to solve my issue. They know I’m blocked for known reasons.Just realised that you also have Citi card. This post has been edited by jefftan4888: Sep 28 2019, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(msa9696 @ Sep 29 2019, 08:07 PM) Maybe I'm lucky up to now, I've used 2 different cards on 2 accounts, both cards and both accounts still safe for now. Normally what did you spend from Fave? I seldom spend from Fave as I can’t find anything worth spending. Over here in forum, there is no dedicated thread to discuss about good deals from Fave. Now need to be a bit cautious I don't want to get banned, Fave is my top spending app so far, followed by Grab |
