I will be getting Quantum soon. Can I request to have only one of them? (mastercard), or I need to take them first and terminate later?

Based on my own experience, they don't allow me to apply one only. So I only cancelled QV later, waste of resources.

Recently applied for the Quantum card . This is what CS and branch officer told me

1) Cancelling either one of the cards will void eligibility for free gift for new card holder campaign.
2) Eligible spend for free gift is cumulative of minimum RM300 only.
CS said amount can be combined from the 2 cards. However Branch officer said RM300 must be from either one of the 2 cards.
3) Cash rebate (consider offset SST charge) of RM25 with additional spend of RM200 will apply for both cards ie spend RM200 for visa --get RM25. Spend another RM200 via Master--get another RM25 cash rebate.

So decided to keep both cards .

Last year, request for SST offset not successful for VS. Redeemed points instead.
Recently, requested SST offset for QM and got it!

What did u say exactly?

boost app can pay iwk? could not locate under boost's bill payment..

Pay from IWK portal using Boost like 11street.

Not having high expectations, just called CS and request for SST offset. Surprised that CS asked me to wait a few days for the request outcome. Saw the offset reflected when checked online.

My experience using PBB Quantum Master in Shopee app:

Cashback:
1) IPAY88-SHOPEE KUALA LUMPUR MYS
2) SHOPEE KUALA LUMPUR MYS

No Cashback:
1) Shopee Malaysia KUALA LUMPUR MYS

Your annual spend of QM achieve RM4000? If yes then could be the reason can offset the SST.

Just search back, 8K annual spending apply to VS.

4K can easily hit, since 600 spending to get cashback is a must..

Got the same experience and called the customer service but they said no cashback for certain transactions on Shopee app.

I got my QM in Nov 2018 and I've spent more than RM4000 so far. Do you think that I can make a request or only can do so after using the card for one year?

Might be too early for the request coz it is meant to offset after SST charges. You can try though...
