It's by invitation but apparently even without invitation can apply too. Refer to BT thread for more information.

I'm confused a bit, maybe early morning still can't think straight yet.
If statement date is 3rd every month, my new cash back cycle starts on 3rd or 4th? If any transactions transacted and posted on 3rd will still include in this month's statement or following month? |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 28 2018, 09:51 AM) 4th Thanks. Clear now. posting on 3rd still counted for current cycle's cb. if u know the merchant's posting is T+1, you can swipe on the 3rd and it'll be counted for next cycle instead. you cant link to your pbe. the supp cardholder need to have his/her own PBe to view the supp card (imo, it's better. just open BSA, without fee, and put min rm20 holding balance). iirc, someone somehow can link supp card (separate statement) to his/her own pbe, not sure how this is done, but so far with my few supp cards, not able to do so. Talking about supplementary cards (separate statement), assuming if I don't want to register any PBe account for them, I can still put my email address so that I can receive the monthly statement right? I plan to get a supplementary card for my mum and haven't found time to do it. I will do it during my 3 weeks plus break next month. QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Nov 28 2018, 09:52 AM) it doesn't matter 3rd or 4th or even 2nd if the transaction is not posted in your previous month statement, they will calculate whatever posted in your current month statement. I understand about this. |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Nov 28 2018, 04:07 PM) yah meh? big pay no need online to prompt bank for payment? Do you know what is 5G? i found out my maxis 5g response faster than my celcom at that moment The 5G you were referring to it is from your router - 5GHz not 5G from Maxis which Malaysia still doesn't have. That said I have no issue using any connection with BP. This post has been edited by fruitie: Nov 28 2018, 05:12 PM |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 2 2018, 11:57 PM) I try searching but not able to get a clear answer. Statement month. You will see the statement date in the letter which attached your card. For PBB VS, cash back is based on calendar date (just like MBB) or statement cycle (just like citibank)? Yet to complete any cycle yet so I would like to I know my statement date. Activated on 20 Nov. Thank you. |

I just realised I spent less RM 17 to earn full cash back RM 38 for my VS. My statement cycle will due today, anything that I can pay and will be posted today? Online transactions only. Urgent and appreciate your advice.
I realised BP is T+1 so will be too late for me. I can't believe I made this blunder. |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Dec 4 2018, 07:38 PM) I'm paying more than required plus earning some cash back from credit cards.Outstanding is high (RM 50k) and don't want to burden myself now to pay off everything. I'm paying every month 2x more than required monthly installment. Already considered good enough compared to those never pay before. |

Received latest statement which is expected with the missing cash back from last cycle due to partial statement.
Just wrote to CS and hopefully it will be credited back to me soon. |

QUOTE(kart @ Dec 5 2018, 06:46 AM) fruitie sis's genuine concern is that she will lose out on the potential online cashback on the 1x monthly deduction for PTPTN. She still gains online cashback on the additional 1x monthly instalment paid manually. I searched for this news to read again last night, it's between 2%-15%, I don't know how's it determined. Currently my monthly repayment is around 3% of my income and even the amount may be insignificant every month, I still prefer to pay with CC rather than cash. It is understandable, really. The mandatory monthly deduction is an effective way to force PTPTN defaulters, to pay the monthly loan instalments. However, the mandatory monthly deduction unfairly penalizes the diligent people who promptly pay the monthly instalment, manually with credit card to gain online cashback, such as fruitie sis and other well-informed posters in this subforum. I wonder whether PTPTN will allow borrowers to opt out of mandatory monthly deduction, provided that consistent loan repayments are shown for the last 12 months. I guess that there is no such thing, such as a perfect system. Anyhow, still not much details yet. Later check with my payroll team if they know anything about this. QUOTE(jutamind @ Dec 5 2018, 07:09 AM) Since cash back are normally used by by early Non morning, how do you guys pay TNB bills early enough to earn the cash back? QUOTE(MGM @ Dec 10 2018, 06:54 AM) Enjoy yourself in UK. JUst want to reconfirm, what are the necessary setting for your Digi mobile in order to topup BP in UK? I intend to use my prepaid Digi in OZ(just to receive OTP without incurring cost) on dual SIM with Digi and Optus(Oz voice&data) and what I was informed is: Set roaming ON. Set data roaming OFF. Set voicemail OFF. Set Digi data plan > data usage OFF. |
