I think no matter which process, they're hiring...I can't do anything right now, applying but it's like not applying at all...our application is like 'disappear', this is the 2nd time I apply, both no reply, I'll give up applying for lateral for I know it will be the same..no point applying, right???

well, I heard some insights info from senior management or something, they're now offering 2.3k for fresh graduates, which is better than my time when I first join.

I'm not sure about that, but that is definitely HSBC bank not HSBC electronic data processing.

Well, I'm not too sure about your case, like i said they're now should be offering 2.3k (not sure if they've started it) for most of the new joiners, again, this 2.3k might be only for HSS and/or GBM, might not be applicable to other general processing.

Hey guys,
I would like to ask those who is currently a CS or GSE in HSBC Cyber...how is the growth potential like? AFAIK sometimes there would be like 2 opportunities for increment and such but that's about it...dont want to sound snobbish la but I hope not to just sit on 1 position for years to come....

Now to the meaty sauce...actually when I attended my first interview, I was informed by the HR that they would give me a call in 3 working days...I waited 10 days no call...so I assume that I didnt pass ( don't ask me, I went thru 7 interviews with such practices + I didnt get any HR contact details to ask) So I went ahead with another job interview with different company/role....

Suddenly out of the blue, HSBC called for a 2nd interview after 21 days...theres seems to be a cocked up and I wasn't called earlier...fine...I went ahead with the 2nd interview...

It probably went well as they just called me again to come by next week to sign the offer...and was told to go to Vista Tower for medical checkup before hand....this medical checkup...they didnt mentioned which date I need to attend to...

Problem is, my 2nd job interview also went very well as they also called me up to sign with them...currently I haven't sign with anyone yet..Im still contemplating which to take...

The other company is offering a slightly lower salary (no experience in position applied) but their benefits is much more compared to HSBC...and growth potential could be seen as I would be working together with my old friend who would be my supervisor...

Hahhha...Im talking gibberish...okok get to the point...

Can I undergo the Medical Checkup on Monday? A day before the proposed signing of agreement? It's because the other company had promised to come up with the agreement letter on Monday...I do not wish to attend and waste the medical fee if Im not joining the company...so Im trying to see how much time I can haggle to wait for the 2nd interview...honestly Im more inclined to the other offer for the growth potential and benefits...but still leaning to HSBC though...

Hope you can understand what Im trying to say and appreciate your kind and fast feedback regarding the Medical issue...

KThxBye

wah!!! 1.2k allowance? which department? my gal department the most only rm400 nia wor.. yup their basic is pretty low.. but from wat i heard they hav increase the basic to 1900( this is rumor from singapore process la) d wor... the growth in hsbc cyberjaya is good if u r willing to learn and take the test provided.. LOMA test past add rm50 to ur allowance d.. so basically u will grow from processing to management.. from management then u can go into AMO post (around 3-5k)--> MO post (pretty high i guess).. GSE post the most will get only 2300 i think..

bit addition to yours, if you're in HSS or GBM, you are suppose to entitle to 2.1k but they have revised to 2.3k i think. also the test that you said is IAQ, in HSS or GBM, u entitled to get RM200 for passing that exam, you have 3 exams in total, means u will get RM600 for just passing the exams, its 600 bucks monthly untill u leave the company! but note, u can only take your first exam after 1 year working, half a year after your first exam and thereafter. so its about 2 yrs the whole process at least.
