Could u elaborate more why Genting not fun?

have done on the bezza

kl - lumut by way of sekinchan, with stay over in teluk anson.

kl - melaka by way dengkil, pd,

kl - pd mini drive on hyway

kl - genting (not fun, not again... lol)

kl - kuantan by way of jerantut (rendezvous persiaran van tour guide fren ) then hyway onwards to cherating

kl - behrang by way of bestari jaya on b33 byway

kl - taiping (normal hyway drive w/ family)

kl - mantin, bentong,  (lulian runs...)

numerous 2 hour drives to nowhere...

most drives alone.
if drive on byway (B roads) at around 60-80 kmh, km/L can reach 19kmL avg. if no jam la...

school holidays now coming and i'm itching to be on the road again..

when i got this car, we were in the midst of cutting down on expenses, with kids college looming and income dwindling..
we had to make cuts... namely having less cars and focusing on just 1 car each for wife n me...
one car that had to do almost everything and be "cheap".
MPV/SUV were gas guzzlers (diesel is not really a thing in mesia, unlike europe) and pricey for my current state..

i was looking for a car that:
1 economical (cost cutting mah..)
2 long distance cruising (car can do town n have long legs to cruise at lower rpm)
3 carry luggage on the longer cruise
4 reliability (still testing as we go thru life)

anything else is a bonus..
manage our expectations, so that we wont be disappointed all the time...
one thing i really miss for long drives is the auto cruise control...

so, ended up with the bezza after much info searching in forums, asking questions, and base spending capability and still have money to have some fun...
didnt want to drive "LOOK AT ME" cars and the bezza is the next thing to being invisible.. i like that... i am like that...
ostentatious showmanship is not my thing...  gone past that stage..
so my bezza DOES NOT HAVE hello kitty stickers or any stickers..
stock standard.

oh.. one thing... bezza seats sucks man... especially long distance, and the driving position (being upright oso sucks)
my legs get cramped during long drives.. especially when i get out of the car and find that my legs have gone to sleep..
and the relation between the seat and the wheel oso sucks.. (for me la)
the steering wheel being non adjustable has made me re-adjust my steering style from 'hand over at the top to hand over at the bottom of the steering wheel..
meaning for long distance, in a more relaxed way, i do the shuffling technique with the hand over of left/right hand at the bottom of the wheel rather than on top of the wheel (cos the wheel sits so high)
doing the cross hand style on top of the wheel means that i have to lean forward from the seat and thats going to be uncomfortable in a long drive..

Honda city or toyota vios should be your choices. Bezza long journey cruising is not tht good, you can feel vibration and underpower on highway. It make long journey much more tired but city and normal road  traffic work terrific.

Can I know what is this Anti Theft brackets? Is it the one that lock the brake paddle?

My friend's auto kelisa going up hill similar story. stubbornly stays in 2nd gear. low rpm despite near full throttle and shifting into 2. I couldn't help but feel like it could do with a 1st gear selection.

i didnt do sound proofing to the roof, thot its only seasonal and wont drive so much under rain rite?
nowadays when raining, like driving under a corrugated zinc roof... lol
but actually hor, honda city nvh oso not good leh... neither is the CRV for that matter.. (both i've sat in)

but one thing i like is the bezza long suspension travel....
seldom bottom out the car..


dude... take care during these rainy season... read about the flash floods up there...

Can I ask what type of battery does all your Bezza comes with? mine is those that need to add water type. I have been driving for 1 year and just realise that.

P2 would have given u a bottle of distilled water to top up the battery..
Care not to over fill or the acid will spill over and destroy other parts.
If dunno, take car to a battery shop or ur mechanic and ask them to teach u..
Cant tell from texts but a hands on learning lesson..
And pay them la.. Cheap cheap solution.
But this battery seems good ones.
Lasted longer than some that I got in other cars..
Some lasted me just 1 year..

fraser hill route will be fun to drive...... alone. not with passenger especially in the rear. How i wish my bezza has strut bar nd rear anti roll bar as it surely beef up the cornering performance by fair bit. and you need to be really gentle through the corners as you will upset the weight balance especially those zig zag corners (plenty of them here).

cameron, i took the simpang pulai route, it can handle the slopes, no worries. and again, 1329cc, you gonna need a golden right leg to make it work.

nvh wise, not only the roof but the overall body nvh wasn't that good. imagine the nvh is worse than a 13 years old myvi... i was like 

speaking about battery, (touchwood) when your stock battery died? can drive for how long?

(touchwood again) mine been using more 2 years 2 weeks now.. still able to start the car/engine..

After a few hrs wanted to drive the car, experienced hard cranking as in got cranking sound & sounded strong somemore but engine just refused to fire up. After a few tries, finally succeed but drove with a heavy heart thinking what hv gone wrong with a new car?

The next 6 mths showed no signs of weak starting & same problem surfaced. This time I took a multimeter to check on batt 1st thing b4 the morning cold start as that will give the most accurate reading. Indeed read abt 11 plus Voltage but I cant remember exactly at what point will be the make or break point if u guys know what I mean.

The incident did freak me out abit I confessed & since then I make it a point to check on the health of batt myself fr 12 mths onwards. The start stop city drive certainly didnt help much in recharging our batt I think but lotsa long distance driving would definitely make the battery last longer.
