Just now when I was cruising through traffic jam while having my air conditioning turned off, with just fan running. Then when I turned on the air cond, I noticed there’s very pungent rubbery smells coming out of the air vent, but I thought maybe it’s the smell from the outside so I didn’t take it seriously. But when I parked my car and got down from it I noticed the smell again. Any idea if anything wrong with my car?

was ur vent open when u smelled in ur car?
Outside did u try to locate where the smell was coming from?
Notice ur tires have scrape marks on side wall?  (if not then, describe rubbery smell)
*
I have the air recirculation on. I think is coming from the hood because when I come out of my car walk pass the hood of my car I smell the rubbery melting again. Did not check the tire. But my car just passed 1K mark so I doubt it from the tires since it’s still new.

you should open your hood and check if there was really smell from engine bay.

1 thing was sometime outside smell do come into the car......... , but lesser d nowadays
*
It was raining and I parked my car outdoor so I did not check it. But I don’t think the smell is from outside because I started to notice the smell in highways, then when I reach home the smell is still there. Tak kan the smell followed me home kan? Lol

Define "rubbery" smell?
Mabbe oil spill on ur engine block burning up?
Have u checked since then?
It's advisable or just take to SC la..
*
It’s like rubber burning kind of smell. But now it’s all normal already. 😓

Bezza factory tint is not really good..
But as spree said, better than non..
My next project is to change the tint to a better one..
Save on ac bill..
Not sure of ikool tho..
Don't know them..
*
The stock one is a security tint, but the heat rejection is really bad. Or perhaps you can keep the original tint and put on a second layer to improve the heat rejection rate?

All I can say.. have more patience... tongue.gif

I ended up with glittering silver.. (2 days after I say I want to cancel, bcos competitor giving cash rebate for raya)

They say if I really want to wait for black, they cannot give ETA when to expect..
*
Actually silver quite tahan kotor. My car has not been to carwash for about 2 months, it still looks shiny. But when you put your finger on it, there will be dust stick onto your finger.

Anyone use anything special for their viper fluid to clean windscreen from oil and etc? I bought some wiper fluid from Mr DIY, but seems like not effective also. Thinking of using dish soap as it can remove oil effectively.

Any of you left your smart keys in your pants and then into the washing machine? I left mine and only realised when I hung the pants to dry. But when I opened the remote case no water has seeped inside. It still works. The smart key is well sealed it seems
*
I’m surprised that it is sealed. I thought just clip on. So now I don’t have to worry my sweats will get in when I’m running while having the key in my pocket.

Question:
1. is your car parked on slope?
2. Do you put on your handbrake fully?
*
1. Nope. Is a flat surface.
2. Usually I pull my handbrake quite hard. So I think is a yes.
