Hola!
I'll be getting my Bezza soon, and I have some questions on car care as this is my first ever car. I am familiar with the general rules like: -Sending the car to SC on time (following the booklet or sticker on the windscreen) - Checking coolant and tire pressure weekly Very basic knowledge, and not one of those car enthusiasts/kaki. More of a get-car-drive-no-worry-except-put-petrol-and-send-service-on-time kind of person. I've read up on things about push star cars, and something about a three-step-start method. Where you get in the car but don't step on the brakes, but push start button, to wake the car? Then only proceed with stepping on the brakes and starting the car? I came from the era of twist key ignition. Appreciate all the pointers and advises if any from all the sifus and more experienced drivers! |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Aug 21 2019, 03:37 PM) A car is mainly to serve you and not the other way around. To start engine just pedal the brake and press push start. As easy as that. Dont listen to those mitos and hearsay, to me they are overly become a slave to the car. Thanks mate for the advice. As you have said, buying the car for worry free driving. Just wondering if there were other heads up or petua orang-orang out there about car care haha.Bezza is a good choice and you have made a good choice for yourself. Just drive and if you do send in the car to SC according the time frame, then you are safe and there will be no hiccup. IF i buy a car just worry sound or whatever, wouldnt it a suffer then enjoyment of owning a new car? |

QUOTE(singk @ Aug 21 2019, 04:21 PM) Totally agree with this. But are there other things that they may not have included in the owners manual?Things that other users discovered and may help other users? Thanks though! |

QUOTE(williamhowf @ Sep 4 2019, 03:22 PM) really pissed off. This morning called perodua HQ about my Bezza advance status, replied me that no stock right now, Bezza advance need 3-4 months waiting list... i was like, how come you guys can make promise Aruz from 3 months waiting list to less than 2 months, while bezza need to wait 3-4 months?? really cannot accept lor.... Whoa bro...that's long. But I think the waiting period is round about there, as I was told I may have to wait 3 months. But I got mine around 2.5 months. My booking was put in around the end of June. I'm getting my car possibly next week. I've asked 2 places including a sales agent friend. The booking for Bezza is really high. In the end, just have to be patient. |

QUOTE(williamhowf @ Sep 4 2019, 05:22 PM) How many were waiting in line before your order? This makes a difference to waiting time as well. Also depends on color, I heard some colors production more than others. |

I was offered an add on from the Perodua Bezza Gear Up line worth RM150. Which is a better option out these options?
-Chrome Window Garnish (RM145) -Chrome Scuff plates (RM140) -Luggage tray (RM120) -Coil Mats (RM140) -Hood Insulator (RM72) -Door Visor (RM150) -Sun Shades (RM85) -Anti Theft Bracket (RM130) In my own opinion, I think the anti theft bracket is the best choice, advice me if I'm wrong. As it gives the slight peace of mind. I understand that if someone intends to steal your car, there's only so much you can do, and you can make it harder/difficult for them if they try. |

QUOTE(Goodboy92 @ Sep 6 2019, 04:24 PM) Only coil mat and boot tray is necessary but it also depend on whether that's the thing you want , alot other coil mat aftermarket , boot tray about the same Thanks for the input, but urgently need the car for work and travel, so can't wait any longer. Just have to be happy with my current model/purchase.If got extra budget then can choose those aesthetic item. Window visor actually block wind and increase wind noise as I know. Can use to reduce heat when parking by roll the window down abit. Anyway I prefer you wait facelift version. I have a no esc bezza, really at current trend, esc is a must, even axia got esc and at 45k, I think you should get a esc equipted car. If advanced version maybe wait for the ASA which cost you 0 but some waiting time. Note: I have no idea how long you need to wait again then. |

QUOTE(Ciypher @ Sep 6 2019, 04:53 PM) Myself gotten these and I recommend I see, I was wondering about the luggage tray as well. If buying aftermarket, I wonder if there'll be any difference.-Luggage tray (RM120) Original one have cutout for the net hooks. -Hood Insulator (RM72) -Anti Theft Bracket (RM130) The door visor quality is good. Until now still can hold up from scuffing but the adhesive tape use is useless .. Regarding the anti theft bracket, I thought it was quite important as car theft these days are getting more rampant. Just one curious question... pardon my newbness, how to check if they have installed the bracket? Is it obviously visible? Thanks! |

QUOTE(Ciypher @ Sep 6 2019, 06:19 PM) You can compare between the 2 and be an informed customer. AFAIK, the aftermarket boot tray there's no cutout for the net hook but I may be wrong. Thanks a bunch! Very insightful advise! The anti theft bracket saved my friend's Bezza from being broken into. We can see the rubber seal portion on the door window slightly undone probably where the perpetrator use a metal hook to open the door lock mechanism. You need to remove the door trim to be able to see the anti-theft bracket. Cheers. |

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ Sep 7 2019, 10:46 PM) I got lazada boot tray.. Hood insulator, cool! I'll check it out.Ok kua.. Slight size difference but no big deal.. Got the P2 hood insulator as the engine is very hot. Door visor from Brothers plus installation, still on the car.. 2 years now. Afyer market rubber floor mat as in msia is a wet country.. Sound insulation.. This car seriously lacks this stuff.. Someone on the last thread did it himself and save a ton on installation.. Definitely a plus when doing long distance.. But ac still very noisy.. I'll check out the sound insulation thing out too. Usually the simplest method to solve it by DIY is to get those rubber strips on Shoppee or Lazada and just stick on the inside of the door right? Floor mats, I'm still deciding between the coil mats or the rubber mats |

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ Sep 10 2019, 08:50 AM) I think we're not to break the plastic cover in the doors or else void certain warranty..? Oh, the internal sound proofing. The one I meant was those 3M/5M tapes that you tape around the perimeter of the door frames, or the inner groove of the car where, when the car door closes and meets the car body. Those rubber tapes That's what I read somewhere here la.. Or the last thread.. I gave it to a guy to do for me while I was at work.. Come to think of it, I didn't even see the sound proffing in the door.. Hmmmm.. Did the firewall, doors, back seat floor, boot for around rm 2k+ That's why I mentioned the guy who DIY.. He did the whole car for probably much less than what I paid.. Helps that he was a garage foreman and knows his way around a car.. But a caveat is that these sound insulation also adds weight to the car.. But wow, 2k+, time to menabung lagi! |

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ Sep 10 2019, 09:10 AM) Had a flat tire I didn't realize and spoilt a tire by driving on the sidewall.. Child labor? I call that early education/life skill training/like you put it, kemahiran. A lot of people these days don't know how to.Gonna change the Bridgestone ecopia to continental cc6. Got 2 to try during the 9.9 sale on lazada. Will have one ecopia with abt 50% thread wear left for any grab members here who may want it.. I'm gonna throw it away anyway (leave it at the shop) Tire will be at Taman Midah, Cheras within the next few days when the tire seller makes an appointment on when to change.. Or if u want a new 2 year old ecopia spare tire, u can pay me rm xx and pay for transferring old tire to spare rim, incl balancing and wallah.. Otherwise, its just gonna age longer as a spare tire anyway.. Luckily my son was with me when we had the flat.. So I made him change it as a kemahiran lesson.. Or u can call it child labour.. Lol |

Much anticipation. Received news from Perodua last week, that my car is available for pickup today. However, they called again yesterday to inform me, somewhere along the line, they messed up the chassis number registration.
Delay lagi....adui |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Sep 12 2019, 10:35 AM) Silver (to hide some scratches and minor dirt) Advance Just out of curiosity, since I heard it mentioned a few times somewhere. It's better not to revv the engine and vroom vroom till after 1000 km service right? Not that I'm a vroom vroom person, more like...good boy 80/90 kind of driver kind. Cause I read mixed responses to this. Some recommend to vroom when new. Some recommend not to till after 1000 km. |
