The timing of RAM , all 5 clocks, (set it at 1.95V)
cycle time 15 clocks, Bank cycle time 21 clocks, Comand Rate 1T. following the 333Mhz speed

Problem : CAn not disable CPU spread spectrum

IN advanced Chipset eatures, it shows CPU Spread Sprectrum : CENTER . (Biostar Geforce 6100 AM2)

Is it because of spread spectrum that I can't reach to 3.0GHz other than the fact that ayam brand PSU? Where's the option?

@Irressistible: set RAM timing to 2T and RAM divider to 533, then you can push higher. If can't go any higher, then only touch vcore and vdimm.

YA, already done that .... satisfy wit 2.5 Ghz la. Maybe will revert back DDR voltage to 1.90V. Now, I set it at 1.95V

First , reset all ur setup in bios to default setting. And now you can disable ur CPU Spread Spectrum. You cannot disable it bcoz this option is locked when u overclock ur pc

just push the reset button on mobo (certain board got, some use jumper) or pull out ur battery.. consult the manual..

Easiest way, pull out the battery, go make a cup of tea/coffee, finish the drink, when u r back , feeling hot and fresh, u'll be good to go for another round of OC.

MIne one is something like that, I thought LOAD Fail-safe default (not sure my BIOS got or not ), this should be OK, right ?

Look up for manual, there's a jumper at mobo to reset CMOS.

Ok...my system is as stated in my sig. My fsb seems to get unstable anywhere above 260mhz. So far Ive tried by putting multi x5, lowering ram to ddr400and turned off c n q. Anythin else I aint doing right?

Ram position.
Try to plug your ram to the nearest slot of the cpu if u do not.
If you already done that, still cannot overclock, try to change the position of the ram.

If not mistaken, there's an option in BIOS called restore default setting.

after 2-3 day playing around with the Bios, I manage to overclock my X2 4000 before this can only go 2.41GHz.

Now just need to Orthos / Prime it
