I ranted on Digi service, coverage previously. However, the service has been improved over the time and with free upgrade 10Mbps, free 5GB tethering (free another year for me, i80), RM 10.00 for RLH, I might consider to upgrade to i150.

Will decide on month of February.

RLH is not expiring. It's the free discount which Infinite 150 users are getting until end of the year.

Hi all guru, I need some advise here.. I'm planning to subscribe I150 and purchase a LTE MIFI router, then connect it to the USB port on my existing router - Dlink DSL-G2452DG (https://www.dlink.com.my/support/Downloads/DSL-G2452DG/DSL-G2452DG_ds.pdf)

Is that possible I can make use of the calls that come with this plan as VoIP with the hardware setup as above? Very much appreciate for your advice as I have very limited knowledge on networking.

b618 is best modem at market now and it's consider cheap vs 4G+ modem others in market or 4g modem price.

mostly is user recommended those who tested the modem expecially on 4G+ area.


ugh i'm facing speed issue and latency issue lately. seem like cant be solved. already continues for a month.

look like run out of option need to add external antenna to boost signal

old spot where i locate the modem is no longer good. coz a month rsrp signal increased alots. 103+dbm.

tested around the house and can get good speed. but antenna should be works better.

that what i notice on RSRP dbm reading the lower it's goes the better the speed i'm getting. pretty much different.

103dbm speedtest around 16mbps only.
90~100dmb speedtest around 30~50mbps. can see 50mbps

only need to change default router password during initial set up.

if you intend to use for 1 or 2 users only, Netgear AC790S mifi is pretty okay. can get used for rm200-ish.
but if you plan for home use always on 24/7 with multiple users, B618 is simply the best

I think i'm gonna get that 618,pretty much 24/7 user,i dont know about price though and coverage in Penang area,specificly Gelugor because my normal hotspot speed only around 6-8 mbps,not even enough for my android tv box and it's frustraiting

Im from Gelugor too.. Upgraded my usb stick modem to B618. Worth every rm spend. Improve alot.

Streaming movies/drama from kodi also no problem now.
