Anyone knows if RLH plan will be extended like what it is or bot.?

I saw some commented about this earlier. I can't find the expiry in T&C, FAQ too.

I ranted on Digi service, coverage previously. However, the service has been improved over the time and with free upgrade 10Mbps, free 5GB tethering (free another year for me, i80), RM 10.00 for RLH, I might consider to upgrade to i150.

Will decide on month of February.

Just for your information:

DIGI has problem with bank TAC code.
Called Digi, they said all banks effected.

My Citibank card can't perform any transaction which requires TAC code.

Hope the problem to be resolved soonest possible.

Update: Just tried again on 3:34pm and it back to normal.

I am using Asus RT-N14UHP + Huawei Mate 10.

This Asus router can be configured USB Tethering from Android phone

Touch n Go eWallet also performs reload without TAC code if the card saved in the system.

Am thinking to unlink it too.

I am using Huawei Mate 10 which it has all the Digi 4G bands, CA and VoLTE features.

I had been working from home since MCO enforced on 18 March 20. I used my i150 on the phone for my daily use, and the speed at my area dropped significantly:
- from 50Mbps to 30Mbps in the morning
- from 20Mpbs to 8Mbps after 8:00 pm

I know band 8 caused the problem sometimes, which will deliver a reduced speed at 5-10Mbps.

I wish to buy a Huawei b818 from overseas to improve the speed and not to depend on the phone too much before battery fried.

I wish to ask if anyone is using Digi infinite plan has a good or significant improvement after switching from phone to Huawei modem router b818/b618.

Thanks for your comment. I forgot about the line congestion. The price of b818 increased by RM 40.00 overnight.

Meanwhile, you might check if your VoLTE setting has been enabled for both the phone and Mydigi app. Sometimes back, some Digi users contacted the Digi support to activate it.

B525 is a good modem but it doesn't have VOLTE. Data drops when there is an incoming or outgoing voice call.

In the end, I choose to buy a B818 Taiwan set which is the same cost as the B525 available locally. And I hope there will be no firmware update that locks the modem.

Guys, do you have any problem with your Digi these days?

Yesterday, the IPv6 no longer assigned to me. Others user might have no issue with that but I have a problem because I use my i150 to connect with my office VPN using IPv4. After the VPN connected, my computer still able to access the internet through IPv6.
It took me a few hours to figure out how to fix it temporarily without changing the configuration of the office firewall (split tunnel, etc etc etc)

That's not the ned. This morning, my speed dropped from 40mpbs (normal speed in the past few months) to less than 10mbps with an unfamiliar cell tower. I tried to find a good feng shui spot to get better coverage with B1, B3, B7 or B8 (4G+, 2CA doesn't work at my location). I am using B818.

Perhaps you can try different band one by one to compare the speed.

B3
B7
B8 (this is the worst)
B3 + B7 (if your area is covered under 4G+ network

Also, try it at multiple locations within your house.

I am using B818-263 too.
In my area, B7 is the best in my house for single-band connectivity.
Yesterday, I realised my house can be connected to 4G+ (b3+B7) because my modem/phone was connected to a different cell tower as indicated in Network Cell Info Lite app (android)
I hope this can last long

It must be congestion. Maybe you try a different location inside your house to find the feng shui spot. Last resort, MCMC. Good luck.

I stay on the 26th floor. My apartment has all BB (Times, Maxis, Unifi) but I stick with Digi Infinite.
My bedroom has better coverage and higher speed but I decided to put my modem in the living area permanently because I set up my WFH computer there since March 2020. The wifi of B818 sucks and I don't want to use so many electronic devices (Mesh wifi) in my house.

I would say yes based on my experience. Locking the band could deliver the data stable and consistent. B7 could deliver faster speed.

When the device changes the band, data will be dropped for a second.
Streaming services might not have a problem but online meeting or webinar could be frozen for a while.
Not sure about online gaming because I don't play.
