is not like we overpromote b618. as it does't cheap but there is few model of modem u can get to pair with uncap speed planĀ  like digi i150,

b715 4x4mimo 4G+, b618-22d import set(cheaper), B818-263 taiwan set seller by shopee (4x4mimo & 4G+) rm 5xx

depend on your budget and which modem suitable for u. as for 2x2mimo vs 4x4mimo does has sigal n speed different if indoor signal is not good.
indoor signal weak compare 2x2mimo vs 4x4mimo mdem
good indoor signal comparison single band 4G only b3 vs b7. Cheap modem also working great even with 2.4ghz wifi

if compare 4G+ speed, of coz b618 will get higher, around 150mbps.

Just bought one to try. Let's see if the signal improve and conveniency.

update #1:

I took out the digi i150 from my iPhone and put into the B618.
At home, iPhone internet speed will be around 1-2Mbps at night, and ~10Mbps in day time.

By using B618, the speed at night is around 6-7Mbps, and 20-30Mbps in day time.
Also, the internet speed is very stable and constant in B618.
No issue to receive call from other people while using internet.

This is really good way to improve the Digi internet speed when home.

But, I need to do SIM card switching from iPhone to B618 and vice versa when home/go out.
A little troublesome here. Hmm...

The good news is, I not need depends on B618 when I working at outside.
Usually I can get 50Mbps internet speed when I working out from home.

Sifus here know where got lobang for a B618 65D? I just ordered an i150 simcard because I cannot tahan 4mbps screamyx already but I'm having issues finding stock for the modem.

Also, I have a Synology NAS on my current network. If I plug it into the b618 using the LAN port, will it work as usual?

if internal LAN its ok but if you need to access your NAS from internet might be a bit of an issue since Infinite does not provide a public IP for you to NAT it

If the cost is not really a big issue there are sellers in Shopee or Lazada that sells it

Will have connectivity issue if you accessing your NAS externally as it cannot obtain public IP.

Apps that use QuickConnect should still work.

Then it's fine as I'm only using the NAS to stream to my Rokus and gadgets in the house. Thanks!

I'm using Plex specifically. I'll have a look if I can make it work with Quickconnect. TQ!

Ahhh... okok thanks for the clarification.

Back to my previous finding,

I found a place by putting my antenna to my roof top and i can get max 25dBi on SINR (previously was less then 10dBi)

The max speed i can go is 140Mbps at the morning.

What antenna you use? Mind to share thanks.

b618 is abit high price as market demand.

altenative if u using unlimited hotspot legal plan, u can choose b715 n b818(stock) 4G+ modem which is cheaper than b618. functoin are the same.

Don't know this is OT or not, but couldn't find any MAXIS tread.
And wonder if Maxis is finally countering Digi infinite 150? It's written that "Get unlimited data even if you're not in fibre coverage area"

Do note you need to pair it up with Maxis Postpaid 98 or above call plan and you shall get RM30 rebate for 12 months for your MaxisONE Go. The actual monthly subscription fee for MaxisONE Go is RM138.

Digi may NOT because i150 comes with call and SMS features whereas Maxis is a broadband plan.

Forgot to mention that Digi also has free RLH which costs RM30 something on some plans. So, why would Digi bother to revise the price, right? Unless, Digi is getting generous out of its mind.

I heard only 300GB quota like previous combo plan with Maxis Fibre.

I will stick to Digi Infinite 150 in the meantime.

Every mobile plan has its own bundled features. Whether you use it or not, that's your choices. Can you request for rebate by saying remove RLH or I will never use the RLH?

Technically RLH is already free and users are not paying for it. laugh.gif
