But I heard from my friend, who was agent of digi, he told me i150 will entitle different performance compare with prepaid or other postpaid plan.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

If with prepaid plan can show true color of digi in my area, then i will get that to try out dulu.

Anyone here facing infinite 150 throttled to 15Mbps when Speedtest and downloading? My quata is 350GB used.

I speedtest and choose Digi to Digi, result is 83Mbps.
change to other server like time, telecom, YTL, result is 15Mbps.
Mega download and Google download all cap at 15m.

I got 20Mbps instead, my quota used is 520GB

Maybe due to MCO, Digi had started to monitor heavy users and throttle either specific users OR specific tower in certain areas to prevent overload of towers
I'm not sure as this is just mere speculation

You can try to report to MCMC but I dont think they will actually help during MCO periods

If due to MCO then speed cap, I can understand. Because the speedtest results is very weird so I want asking here. Digi live chat has no service during MCO.

Only Digo Infinite 150 has this issue. My Digi prepaid plan has no issue like this. So disappointed. I found this 15Mbps speed cap when I download my pubg from steam, then I test all the download server like mega and google drive all cap at 15m now.

If Digi is capping the speed, do you think they'll admit it?
Then, you may complain to MCMC. MCMC is a REDUNDANT complain centre, it won't do things like it used to.

i think the issue is related to undersea submarine cable broken hmm.gif

QUOTE
KUALA LUMPUR: Internet users in Malaysia have been experiencing minor internet disruption resulting from damage to the Asia Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) submarine cable owned by Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™.

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) today said that TM has given its assurance that all necessary steps are being taken to reduce the impact of service interruption to users.

MCMC said it was informed by TM that one of its APCN2 submarine cable segments, which connects Chongming, China and Lantau, Hong Kong (segment 3) is damaged.

“While the consortium maintaining the APCN2 identifies the exact location of the damage for restorative work, TM has taken swift action of dispersing affected traffic flow through their other submarine cables in order to reduce the impact on users.

“TM has also activated additional capacity through the Cahaya Malaysia submarine cable system, which connects Malaysia’s international traffic to Japan. Internet users in Malaysia have only experienced minimal interruption, as there are other submarine cables available to channel internet traffic as needed,” MCMC said in a statement today.

The APCN2 submarine cable, which connects Malaysia to Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States, is one of 14 submarine cable systems worldwide jointly owned by TM.

MCMC said additionally, global giants such as Akamai Technologies, Amazon.com, Facebook Inc., Google Inc., Microsoft MSN, and other international content providers have peering connections at the Malaysia Internet Exchange (MyIX).

“Most of them provide cache servers at local internet service providers' networks. This means that their content is accessible locally by internet users without any interruption.”

MCMC said it will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that internet services to users will not be severely interrupted, especially during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

“The community’s dependence on broadband services at this time is crucial, especially for sectors such as commerce, service and even education, where online learning has been implemented,” it added.

I called to Digi Hotline in this morning and tell them about this 15m issue. Digi cs help me make a report and need 5 days to let the team to investigate. I also think the undersea cable issue will not effect our digi speed. That cable can't explan why the speedtest of digi server result is better than other local server.
