Sorry nope, X6 is supposed to mesh with Huawei WA8021V5.
What is hg8025v5 ?

So far no mentioned on max unit, to avoid too many hops, not exceeding 5 would still be fine.

Hi, you need to see your unit layout & size to compare the performance.

Just a 1400sqft condo

If your unit has not much obstructions or L-corners, AX73 performs much better.
If your unit has hard to reach areas, go for Huawei HG8145V6 + WA8021V5, consider hooking up the given WA8021V5 mesh node via network cable.
Do note that by connecting WA8021V5 wirelessly, resulting performance drops.

Hello, I am new Time user, my package comes with Time HG8145X6 as modem/router.

1)Can I use a mesh of different brand for this modem router?
2) Possible to change the modem router to another brand? Is there any steps that need to be taken for this?
3) If i change the modem router brand, can i reuse HG8145X6 as a mesh unit?

2. You cannot replace modem but you can contact CS to convert into bridge mode then you can connect your own router to the modem LAN Port 1.

Hello, today TIME come to install free Huawei mesh WA8021V5. They just paired with my existing TIME router/modem huawei hg8145v5 as "wifi repeater".
Is this it? There is nothing I need to do? Like doing the access mode (<optional?)?
