Getting Started Junior Member 147 posts Joined: Jan 2020 From: Georgetown, Penang	Guys, is this server download speed cap or any problem with my router? Youtube buffering speed is around 90mbps ~ 130 mbps. However, other downloads are just 6 mbps - 13 mbps max.

They just paired with my existing TIME router/modem huawei hg8145v5 as "wifi repeater". Is this it? There is nothing I need to do? Like doing the access mode (<optional?)?

As the speed upgrade will be rolled out in phases, the transition is anticipated to take approximately 2 months, starting on 22 March 2024. Anything just refer to your Selfcare account or we will keep it update on our social media. QUOTE The speed boost is permanent till the customer request to change the plan. No, the speed will be permanent as we said earlier. The period from 27 March 2024 to 7 April 2024 is the period during which batches receive speed boost. I asked the CS, one say till 14 April 2024 or 2 months, some site 7 April... (Although contact TIME cs if not getting after the "period") SelfCare under "Shop" (only see it on mobile) SelfCare Home page (web & PC)

On 100mbps plan but even YouTube at 720p sometime buffer. Is it just me? (I think rarely had this issue with TIME's 100Mbps plan before) Just my short review of U Home Fibre 2025: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « - U Home Fibre is not same as U Home 5G but even now, customer service team seems confused and unsure how to begin the registration process over the counter - Youtube 720p still buffering sometime, need wait it to load 1-2 sec if the 100mbps speed for both download/upload. The speed is inconsistent even when using a LAN connection, around 4~8 mb/s - U Home Fibre poor customer service team. Technical issues need to be escalated to the broadband/technician team, slow resolution time... - Contacting U Home Fibre customer service about technical issue, they informed me that my order is still pending/processing, meanwhile the installation being completed few days ago. - D-Link AX1800 DIR-X1860Z Wifi 6 router provided by U Home Fibre doesn’t work well. Connect well to my phone but it caused blue screen (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION) on my laptop. I tried updating the WiFi driver and even reformatted Windows but it didn’t help. Laptop works fine with other Wi-Fi networks or mobile hotspots though. So, I ended up switching to my own TP-Link Archer AX55 AX3000 router, and now both my laptop and phones work fine. - 2 years very restrictive contract, RM79 monthly for 100mbps, cheapest option out there for 100mbps but no other benefit but stuck with 2 years very restrictive contract. RM79 monthly for 2 years contract, likely revert back to RM99 after the 2 years. - Need to call 0183881318 for customer / technical service, live chat like seems like nonexistent. - U Home Fibre technician also seem from TIME/other, they told me don't have much experience yet to install U Home Fibre. - Unlike TIME/other ISP provided internet status/info on their websites or mobile apps, U Home Fibre offer none. If so, U Mobile app's Broadband section keep stuck on the link account page and never proceeds further. Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

U Home FIbre website: Can't wait to switch over TIME again or other ISP... Next time will just paying for the actual host ISP provider, not those ISP provider lease from the host...
