Guys, is this server download speed cap or any problem with my router?
Youtube buffering speed is around 90mbps ~ 130 mbps. However, other downloads are just 6 mbps - 13 mbps max. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hello, today TIME come to install free Huawei mesh WA8021V5. They just paired with my existing TIME router/modem huawei hg8145v5 as "wifi repeater".
Is this it? There is nothing I need to do? Like doing the access mode (<optional?)? |

I questioned the customer service. QUOTE We are in the midst of upgrading the speed for existing subscribers. As the speed upgrade will be rolled out in phases, the transition is anticipated to take approximately 2 months, starting on 22 March 2024. Anything just refer to your Selfcare account or we will keep it update on our social media. QUOTE The speed boost is permanent till the customer request to change the plan. No, the speed will be permanent as we said earlier. The period from 27 March 2024 to 7 April 2024 is the period during which batches receive speed boost. QUOTE Within the period from 7 April or 14 April 2024, if you did not receive the speed boost, you may revert back to us. eauyong liked this post

QUOTE(LA773 @ Apr 4 2024, 01:28 PM) Seems like it, I guess most 500mbps to 600mbps get first, left 300mbps to 500mbps and 100mbps to 200mbps...Yesterday MCMC, "Time cs manager" respond today: QUOTE We acknowledge your interest in the 200mbps speed boost. Please be advised that the upgrade is being implemented in phases and is scheduled to conclude by April 14, 2024. Rest assured, we will promptly notify you via email once the upgrade process is finalized. We trust this information addresses your concerns. While, https://www.time.com.my/news/time-boosts-cu...rnet-experience QUOTE Time is rolling this out in batches and expects to complete the exercise by the end of April. Time..will tell (no pun intended, but definitely chat with Time cs if still not get it after 14 April). |

QUOTE(danielkai @ Apr 5 2024, 09:23 AM) Successfully downgrade to 200mbps RM 99 after 300mbps RM 109 promo contract ended. After you downgrade, you terus get the 200mbps speed boost? Or still 100mbps? as likely most of 100mbps users now awaiting the speed boostJust chat with CS to unlock the downgrade option in the portal to proceed. In overall, Time's move on free upgrade makes their lower end package more competitive in the market. |

Just switched to U Home Fibre (April 2024), is it really this bad? On 100mbps plan but even YouTube at 720p sometime buffer. Is it just me? (I think rarely had this issue with TIME's 100Mbps plan before) Just my short review of U Home Fibre 2025: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post
