Hi, yes it can be used, but the stability depends on which batch of the router, the older ones work better as it is not preloaded with Telco specific firmware.
Anyhow you can anytime load in new firmware corresponds to its hardware ID.

Hello, TIME new user here. I wanted to switch from the default MODEM+Router given by TIME (HUAWEI EchoLife HG8145V5) to my own Tp-Link AX50. May I know what are the steps that I am required to do? FYI, I have the PPPoE Username and Password. I am a bit confused about the steps. Can anyone please be kind enough to let me know what are the steps? From what I know, I need to call TIME CS to ask them to bridge to Modem right? and what else I need to do?
