Greetings TIMErs. I would like to ask opinion on international routing on TIME vs unifi mainly. I read from this thread about the congestion on TIME own pipeline around last years MCO where everyone stayed at home which is quite bad. Can you guys can enlighten me on TIME performance nowadays? Thank you
I am not sure about others but our family did not face any problems while using TIME since before MCO. We did face some problems while with Unifi before.

Performance wise is still quite promising, at least in Malaysia....
The slowness (if any) you experienced during MCO period most probably does not relates International Routing..

That black thing is called patch panel.

Since all your devices are at one place. Just get one switch (maybe 8 port switch)

1) the blue cable from router connect to switch (one port)
2) from patch panel port to switch port (for each room make one connection to switch)

Then all will be working. All rooms will have internet.

(with you current configuration, you only will have internet at one room)

Hi, no standard time frame, it depends on case by case, and whether your developer has requested TIME to come in earlier.

so that black thing isn't a switch? dang that sounds complicated, i think i'll just use ethernet cable from living room to bedroom at 3rd floor LOL
*
That black thing is called a patch panel which each room's ethernet port is connected to.
From Patch panel; you connect to a switch or wireless router's LAN port

I love Time Fibre Home Broadband too. And just recently installed. To use speedtest, It is compulsory to connect to the Lan Cable to the modem too.

Hi guys, I've been using TIME for a couple of years now, and am thinking of taking up the "free" recontract offer to the Essential Booster pack. I've currently got the TP LInk 1200 router, with the recontract will they provide a new router +2 mesh nodes, or is it just the 2 mesh nodes?

If it's just the 2 mesh nodes, will I get to continue using the TP Link 1200 as a router as well, or is that not a good idea?

I think they will give you 2 mesh units. 1 works as router and one as node.
