They had me go through the standard steps of unplugging and replugging the LAN ports, fibre cable tightness check etc. In my case, the LOS red light didn’t go away. So they told me that a tech team will come over tomorrow.
You should call/live chat with them to get the tech team to come.
*
Red light return a few hours later, called them around midnight or else today wfh no internet, technician is scheduled to come and check. But this morning when I restart the router internet miraculously recovered, but diagnostic result from the self care portal is "Fiber reading high".

Anyhow, hope your issue get resolved soon.

Hi guys, i have 2 questions :

1. Is 1g the max package Time can provide?
2. My contact will be ended on September (complicated situation, my package is 1g, but i am using the router came with 500megs, my max speed is 700+megs only), i would like to know if i decide to continue using Time fibre and prolong the contract, would them give me a better router that is suitable for my 1G line?

Thanks.

1. Yes
2. Check in the selfcare portal whether recontract will give free router. You will be tied to contract for another 2 years if you plan to recontract.

Hi, for this ;

RECOMMENDED: Our authorised TIME installers will conduct a WiFi coverage analysis of your home to recommend the best location to install the device so you can get the best WiFi experience.
Tip: For best results, let our TIME installers know where you use your Internet most.

Can they deliver and we install the mesh nodes ourselves?
Since now is Zaman Covid n all?

Keyword here is "Recommended", you don't have to say yes if you don't feel comfortable about it.
Also, do note that the complimentary WiFi routers provided by any ISPs, its performance are likely to be just so-so only. Would need to invest for good WiFi routers.

For FTTH, yes, this is currently the highest package available at this moment.

2. My contact will be ended on September (complicated situation, my package is 1g, but i am using the router came with 500megs, my max speed is 700+megs only), i would like to know if i decide to continue using Time fibre and prolong the contract, would them give me a better router that is suitable for my 1G line?
Please check out your selfcare portal for the loyalty programmes. Alternatively you may get your own router, preferable wifi6 & with high processing power.

Thanks.

I called support and they ask me to turn off and unplug the fiber cable from the Huawei modem and plug it back in. It work for a few hours and then internet gradually become slow again. Aih should have ask them to come and check the infra on my building.

Hi, please handle very carefully when unplugging the fibre connector, hold the body & gently unplug it. Or better, give 1800 18 1818 to get the SI come over to check on your issue.

Do let me know if you require further asistance.

Thanks.

Hi, well it depends on case by case basis, as there are certain buildings which we may need to pull cable for you. Even though it's prelaid with fibre, we cant check the fibre reading in your house if we don't enter your house....some buildings fibre infra are not done properly.
This is like trying your luck...

Thanks.

Hi,
Instead of saying good or bad, I'd say rather it suits your environment or expectation.

Get what I mean ?

Thanks.

Yes, true but just want to get the feedback if compared to Ec230. On the stability and reliability.

My suggestion for you to get own router as this free mesh might be more or less the same with the existing one that you are using.
