Hi, to address your intermitent rebooting issue, just report & replacement will be made if the router found to be faulty.
During the replacement, please request the SI to perform a speed test via Cat5e/Cat6.

Do also report the Tel1 indicator keeps on blinking issue, if your handset is placed properly, this is usually the voice settings that isnt provisioned correctly.
After you reported, the settings can be remotely provisioned, not require SI to do anything.
Thanks.

Already made appointment for changing router to the current router they provide with contract renewal.

On Saturday Time came to install my fibre. Everything was ok, until Sunday morning and my Huawei modem LOS led start flashing red. I did not even have 24 hours of Time internet.

On Tuesday a Time technician came out to check and he says that my line is broken from my unit to the main box in the condo, but he cannot fix it and the installer must come back. (Why come to my unit if you cannot fix my issue)

So I phoned Time to ask, when can the installer come back and they said maybe before the end of the week, since the installer must get approval to install the cable.

I cancelled my TM Unifi to change to Time. I had TM Unifi for more than a year without any cable issue. According to Time the installer was suppose to pull in a new cable to my unit during the install, but he didn't. I think he used the existing Unifi cable.

So now it's Wednesday and I do not know what is happening with my Time internet. Starting to regret changing to Time.

If anybody from Time can assist I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Your line broken at main box not Time fault, it can happen when someone new subscribing and installing fiber thus have to adjust the box.

It happened to me 2 weeks ago when maxis installation came for neighbour at the back. I ask technician die die dont admit but my connection suddenly died while they pull fiber from box to neighbour house, and i was streaming at that time.

And the first technician came they also cannot repair because dont have tools. Next days later my connection was fixed. It took 3 days and 2nd time technician to fix.

You didnt see they pull new fiber to home? (use the old unifi fiber?)
You should not have signed the installation agreement if you are not happy with the installation.

@ryansxs
They did not pull any cable into my condo, they just used the existing cable. Internet was working great when they installed it, but less than 24 hours later it stopped working

@Cendol_Pulut90
I got a call from a Time technician who is coming to my unit later, so hopefully they will fix it today. I understand that it might not be there fault. Thanks for you reply.

Hi, sorry to know the issue that you have encountered.

When you mentioned they used Unifi Fiber, may I know is your building comes with fibre infra prelaid/prebuilt ?
You can take a look at the fibre cable, if it's from TIME, then it will have marking of TT Dotcom/TIME Dotcom on the cable jacket.

If your building is prelaid with fibre infra done by the developer, then according to SOP, there will be NO new cable needed.

Thanks.

Hi, initial YTL installed fibre to all the units, then later TM Unifi came to the condo. When Unifi came to install, they pulled in their own cable all the way into my unit.

When Time came on Saturday, I did not see them pulling anything into my unit.

But thanks, I will have a look at the cable to see if there is a Time Dotcom marking on it.

Got few question
1. Inside EC230-G1 website, its mention support easy mesh, but does this router support OneMesh?
YEs it does. You can purchase another unit from TIME.
2. looking for extender matching the router, currently focus on RE300 or RE305, anyhow having experience for it? RE300 support OneMesh as well.
RE650 tested works well.

3. Any better way to extend for better coverage/stability.
Perhaps you could look into Mesh solutions if you have tendency to have seemless roaming.
Thanks, I cant found EC230-G1 listed as compatible list for OneMesh on TPlink webside
https://www.tp-link.com/sg/onemesh/compatib...tm_campaign=all

If you been test and confirmed RE300 able to work under OneMesh with EC230-G1, I'll give a try.
I not prefer get another EC230 as its unable mounting on the plug

For better Mesh solution like DECO M5, do we still need the router? Or the DECO M5 will be the router to replace my EC230-G1?

Hello, how are you?
It's been a long time that you reply here.

You mean the TIME Apps to pay the bills right?
No issues for me via Android.

You may try to reinstall the Apps and see.

Thanks.

Thanks for the interest on TIME FIBRE.

The connection there is very good but depending on some scenarios. Now you are staying at which building?
Is it the Bukit Jalil City The Park?

Check here : https://www.time.com.my/support/internet-coverage-check

AFAIK, the area near Bukit Jalil City is well covered except for Sri Rakyat Apartment & the landed houses surrounding the Chinese School
