i already hv 1 tp-link AX72 but its AX5400, do u recon this is good enough to replace the default system from times, since i just have to buy 1 more AX72 to make it 2 units

AX6600 type in Shopee seems to cost at least rm800++ sweat.gif

Get a long network cat-5e or cat-6 patch cable, 10M, 20M, 30m, 50m or 60M connect PC to router for full speed.

There’s super thin Cat6a cables that you can get to avoid using the default grey/blue Ethernet cables.

I got mine in bulk from Taobao.

You can try, I think it's a lot better than the free router from TIME. 500Mbps might be possible if you're lucky.

Anyone know how to change the ipv6 dns on a Huawei WA8021V5?
The setup is using a HG8240H5 modem + WA8021V5 as router

I can easily change the ipv4 dns in settings

However, the ipv6 page is extremely useless, it's literally just an on off switch

I've set dns to cloudflare and google but it's still leaking to TIME as well

there's also no option to login as other account as the login page only asks for a password

If you use the stock mesh via wireless will never reach 500mbps on node. I changed to Asus RT-AX57 and RT-AX1800U via wired backhaul.

Is it worth to get this upgrade?

It is worth it if you really need the speed upgrade. I have a huge household hence this speed upgrade is really a significant improvement to my internet speed.

Did you do the Crimping of the RJ45 Connectors to the Ethernet Cable?
I have all the stuffs (normal twisted pairs cables too) but so far never do the customised cable yet.

No, you have to buy them prefab as the cables are too thin for self termination

Using cable to connect the mesh together instead of wifi.

That day one of the member said today 24th TIME is going to make some announcement, any insights? If TIME not going to revise their package, I'm going for U mobile fibre then.

Doubt so. It's been awhile.

If you're going for their 100 Mbps package then it's cheaper, otherwise most packages are the same or slightly more expensive. And they could also be riding on Time's infrastructure.
