Hi all,

It’s probably a simple (prolly dumb too) query for you folks but it’s something I’m unsure on how to proceed

I’ve a DLink DIR882 in its standard setup and settings unchanged from day one. EVERYTHING (including a ROKU) within range connects and runs seamlessly. Recently, I got myself a FireStick. It connects okay to it wirelessly and the front page loads accordingly. However its content (movies, channels) takes forever to load, to the point that it timed out everytime.

The FireStick when connected to UNIFI / MAXIS, operates normally.

Is it due to a certain default setting with regards to the TIME router?
Thank you in advance for helping out…

There is a bug/issue with TIME that some sites hosted on Amazon doesnt load
try if androidpolice.com loads

try rebooting the router multiple times until the site above loads

Can you try to change both Primary & Secondary DNS to Google's or others like Cloudflare.

Hello, once TIME is done installing the fibre at the drain, I'll be able to set an appointment. In the meantime, does TIME installer offer services to help install/run additional LAN cable for own Access Point?

You can liaise with them with a fee but advisable to engage professional network/infra contractor to do that if your requirement is more complex & you expect more professional results.

Thanks.

Hi, I've just installed TIME. And I'm used to changed the LAN IP address to another set. But it seems like it has some problem with this round. After updated, I couldn't login to the router by using the new gateway IP address nor the default gateway IP address. Would like to know from sifus here where is there anything I could do? Thanks.

[Update] I've tried accessing it again using another notebook and it was successful this time. I think my another notebook is blocking the access.

Been having some issues with my mesh network recently. For some reason my node upstairs stops working and my devices can't switch to it anymore. WLAN light is also turned off. Tried re-pairing and all that but no luck so I had a Time technician to come look at it but even he hasn't met an issue like this before. Ended up switching the main router for a new one but now the issue is back.

I logged into the router dashboard and noticed that on the Home Network information page that the node upstairs was offline, Offline AP. Offline time was exactly the same time it stopped working too. I noticed the same thing the first time I logged in to check before the new main router was swapped.

Anyone ever encountered this issue before?

there's a billing date assign to your account when you schedule your installation date

Yea, im aware of the billing cycle date

Just wana clarify, lets say install on 10th, billing on 25th

So, the first bill will charge pro rated 10-25th/30days
But will it come also with the next month bill meaning subsequent full month bill as well? Meaning pay ahead for coming month also?

Means 15days + 30days bill
