Yes, U Mobile do expand their own 5G very rapidly from what I can track so far... I believe all states/FT should already have ULTRA5G coverage

Umobile roaming not working in qatar. Dont know why.. idd and data roaming activated, connected to vodafone qatar but not working..

Ultra 5g is applicable for all umobile users...
Only 5g sa is still for dedicated plan...

It was not working for us as well when we were there for the WC.
No point contacting CS as they won't be of any help.
Better off getting a prepaid sim while you are there.
Can try to take screenshots and complain to them.

Damn it means it was like that since 2022? Ya i complained to them. They said will escalate to their partner vodafone here. Actually Qatar was not in the roaming package previously then i upgrade to postpaid 98 for this but shit not working. The thing about local sim is that cant do wechat or whatsapp video calling. Vpn is alao hit and miss, sometimes u video call for few mins then it will start lagging probably their system detected is video call based on data usage pattern.

yes that's true.
faced similar challenges but could not help it.
I think used a different telco's roaming pack or something.
can't remember now but ya was a mess.

NSA mode: B28+n78 (All U Mobile prepaid/postpaid/U Home 5G)
SA mode: n28 & n78 (can aggregate), only for these plans for now (U Postpaid 98​/U Biz 98​/U Premium​/U Platinum)
