Their NTP(Network Time Protocol) server got problem not sync properly with the atomic clock or no update. Some administrator must be sleeping on the job.

That's weird, shouldn't your phone connect to time.android.com or time.apple.com to get the time?

Also it depends on the latency to those servers. If the ISP doesn't maintain good routing with very high latency to those NTP servers, you're going to get weird sync delays to your device timing.

I'm currently using gx43. What's the postpaid equivalent without FUP so that I can make use of the new rm10 postpaid rebate for gomen servant?

Postpaid slightly costlier because allows 5G access and comes with quota but still sizeable enough with 60GB at RM38/mth.

Closer to it is the new Prepaid U50 12Mbps Unlimited (FUP 100GB) with access to full 5G speeds over weekends which GX43 for an additional RM7.

Umobile feels that it's still competitively priced when compared to other telcos Y,C, D and M for their postpaid plans since all 5G access shares the same DNB network with similar coverage.

I guess the old GX50 or GX68 plans?
Cant get them anymore though

the new U Postpaid plans are not unlimited, though I guess you can consider U98 to be unlimited as its 1000GB

Funny that prepaid is a better deal than postpaid...

Why would anyone even use postpaid?

.
Afaik, VoLTE or Vo5G and IMS (not SMS) requires 4G/5G Mobile Internet data whereas 2G voice calls and SMS do not require such Mobile Internet data.

Some smartphone users who have Home Fiber Internet and VoIP fixed/immobile phone lines (eg 03- XXXXXXX for Selangor), subscribe to the cheapest prepaid Mobile phone plans and topup only (eg RM5 every 3 months) just to keep their Mobile phone line valid or active, in order to be able to receive voice calls or SMS via 2G. The VoLTE setting may interfere with the receiving of 2G voice calls.
....... Hence, these users often ask about maximum validity period given by the celcos.

I have Yoodo and Digi numbers on grace period (inactive) and VoLTE still work on both lines without data.

Perhaps U Mobile is different.
