i have test u38 put into modem but cannot hotspot , so i think only can 'hotspot' at phone but got block at modem unless u use mod modem

I doubt it since telcos really dont want you to use their "unlimited" / high quota plans in modems as they expect you to not be able to use that much data normally on a mobile phone

for home usage, they would want you to subscribe to a home broadband plan, such as the ones offered by Maxis, U Mobile or Yes as examples

The correct answer is - THere is no hotspot data for 4G. Hence thats why awee87 is unable to use on modem or 4G hotspot. Its clearly stated only for 5G.

i have try 4G and 5G hotspot at phone and working perfectly after 200gb, but not in modem or mifi. maybe need try 5G modem or 5G mifi.

you get 5gb hotspot quota
after that runs out, it uses your main data pool to hotspot
so yes, you are allowed to hotspot the 1000gb that is given

Just moved from GX68. Confirm U68 using main data after 5GB hotspots data finished.Can continue to cast to TV. I am on 4G phone only. There is no announcement about this. Only received sms saying 5GB hotspots quota finished.
