Hi guys, i just subscribed the UNIFI 100Mbps, but on wifi speed test, the download speed only around 15Mbps, currently using the TP Link 150Mbps Wireless N Nano USB Adapter..is it because of the wireless adapter limiting the speed? if im not using Ethernet cable, which wireless adapter recommended for my pc?

Just return the modem a.k.a. BTU.

File a report and get technician to come to your house. I have changed mine to Nokia one. My BTU was capable to go more than 100Mbps but somehow it didn't. So the technician just changed one for me.

Less interference means better speed of course. The WiFi analyser will give you a WiFi signal strength reading. Play around with the location of your router to get better signal strength in your weak areas lah.

I'm using a TP link TL WN 821N usb adapter for WiFibto my pc. I am getting about the same speed from my 2.4 GHz SSID despite my 500 Mbps bandwidth to router. Better to get a dual band WiFi adapter, which I will do when I have the funds. First page, first post. Around the green text.

Reported on Friday's midnight. Technician came on Sunday's morning but without a working BTU, came back again on Monday's evening to replace.
I called 100 and selected to report technical problem.

They will usually come during working days, just that the assigned technician wanted to attend as soon as possible.
You can check the ticket in UniFi page if there's any technician assigned. Usually with name, phone no. and photo (if any).

That's his no. registered with TM. You can try if you want, sometimes they will use another no. to call you to set an appointment.

Good you got the price reduced. Did the package name change in your customer portal? Just wondering if they call this under a different package name.

Suppose to be 800mbps but 500mbps is great for me already.

How much were you paying? So were you from 100Mbps?

But as you can see that ping is not normal..

The ping to Perth is usually sub 100 ms.

200ms is like the ping to US.

Look at my sig for the typical ping to Perth before this, 62 ms without the use of VPN or tunneling tech.

I think the routing to Australia is a bit messed up at the moment.

Well, in my opinion you should complain. You are rightfully entitled for 800Mbps and not 500Mbps.

I can request for 800mbps or price reduce?

yep I did read the first post. I don't think I am going to get a new router though. So does this mean the C1200 router, no matter how strong wifi or wifi adapter you have, you only get around 230Mbps max ?


Which Samsung device you have ? And what router ?

Maybe later when 800M package is launched, they may have a promo for it at RM199. Then will offer all 500M turbo users that are paying less than RM199 to upgrade by adding RM10or more . They will then get back ARPU for such users to RM199. If not if they just upgrade those paying RM179 / 189 to 800M, they get nothing more from them later. This is assuming that this 500M instead of 800M turbo is not a infra problem and its pricing issue.
