How to enable 5ghz wifi? Already enabled both 2.4ghz and 5ghz on router setting, but cant find the 5ghz one.

Using dlink dir 878, unifi 100mb. Surf on laptop, note 9.

My previously dir 850L got 5ghz without problem.

Disable Smart Connect on Setting >Wireless. Your Smart Connect is enabled, so the router is deciding automatically which band, 2.4GHz or 5GHz, your device is connecting to. Disable it, and you will see it separate now.

So going back to my case, I ordered Ugreen Cat 6 cables.
BTU to DIR850L using Cat6 cable.

Wifi test not more than 100 mbps
LAN using Cat6 cable also not more than 100mbps

BTU issue?

Have tried getting unifi personnel to reset my port as well. But same result

Disable already, renamed my wifi to 2.4 and 5ghz so i dont confuse, but i cant find the 5ghz available on my wifi list..

Seems my device support it. Just now i accidentally put my note 9 above the router and suddenly got the 5ghz wifi but very weak. Just one to two bar signal.
But when i take up my phone, the signal lost. Try with another device also same.

Nope, the TP-Link C3150 has NAT Boost applied already.

I'm using the C7 v4 but I am unable to test this as the account I'm using it with is only 100Mbps, and so far the router has been solid.
Will only be able to test it with 800Mbps some time next month

That only applies if PPPoE connection drops according to the post, and TM Unifi PPPoE connections won’t drop as the default setting on WAN page is always on, so don’t worry too much about it.

Get this as a minimum: TP-LINK Archer VR400. Get it from OOKAS.
