I guess it works both ways. Previously I was sold a counterfeit Samsung microSD card advertised as ori. Penang seller. I refused to send it back while claiming for a refund. Counterfeit items also under prohibited item list.
The card still working.

I bought a Samsung microSD card 64GB Evo Plus (not outdated Evo+) class 10 U3 (not U1) last year, from a preferred seller (at that time)
It sold at RM19.90, far cheaper than mall seller RM60+ and other preffered sellers RM35+
The seller told me it is an original Samsung microSD card.
But it puzzled me as the pricing is cheaper than counterfeit Samsung microSD card.
Lobang tu macam kuat tipu... Look at below reviews, he got all 5 stars, everybody was happy with it.
It also has Samsung BBS Distribution sticker in front.
Finally I got it with 800 coins cashback, and the microSD card shows authenticity.
It was sold out when I wanna buy more. Oh shit!
