Hi, suddenly bum in here.

I’m having braces next coming Friday. 1st consultation, my Ortho put 8 separators to move my teeth to give way for the band. She told me to extract 7 of my teeth (3 wisdoms & 4 molars).

I’ve extracted 2 teeth last week and 4 teeth last Monday. Guess what.. There's no pain at all. Thanks to my doctor. She done a great job.

People said, separator/spacer is more hurting than braces.. is it true?

To me, the separator is hurt during the time force in between the teeth. after that, it fine. By the way, you need to extract 7 teeth, it is wow !

hey guys, where did u guys put ur retainer after using it. kinda looking for a container to put it. any idea where to buy?

ya wei, 7 teeth sound scary... but if that including wisdoms...thats fine i think...

about the spacer.s..no worries... its pain cos its tight... give it a few days then it will be fine already. I still have spacers at my lower jaw...

Added on May 17, 2009, 1:02 amwah 7 teeth ah?!? sounds scary though.. when i put my separator is kinda pain cos the tightness..no strenght to chew.. I put 2 only so it's bearable la..after some days it become less pain d.. putting 8 would be more pain i guess

Cos i lazy to go to the clinic. kakaka...

Before this, i had 8 separator at my lower jaw. Then now left back 4... hahaha...Cos cabut teeth edy, no need put tat many inside.

Just came back from appt. Dr changed my wire to thicker ones. Its 0.18 if i'm not wrong. Other than that, the rubberband (Used to be road runner but now is bear) are getting thicker too.

Immediately i get the tight feeling which i like cos i know the teeth will move very soon. Fortunately it wasnt painful today when doctor changed my powerchains. So it was a pleasant visit today.
