Can anyone recommend orthodontics in KL like Ampang area please?

hey did anybody here get their braces from a government clinic ? only 2 of my teeth arent straight so i registered last year and they put me on a waiting list. i totally forgot about it. just remember when stumbled across the appointment card when cleaning my drawer
they didnt say how long im supposed to wait. how am i supposed to know when its my turn? do they like call..?

it'll take ages if u are waiting for the gov ones... it'll take quite a while as there are many ppl in the waiting list. Do try to check with them again... Ive got frens who've waited for a yr or two just for braces... its rather cheap though:)

two years is good enough... one of my friend waited for 4 years!

just want to ask any of us here have their wisdom teeth not yet finished growing? like halfway like that, can do damon 3 ma?

Personally, I suggest you wait till your wisdom teeth finished growing then only do the braces. At that time, if the wisdom teeth is not straight, the braces can correct it accordingly.

If you do braces first, then the wisdom teeth have no chances to correct if it's not straight. This will be not a best idea.

was thinking to do damon 3 so no need to extract the 4 teeth, and my wisdom teeth take very long time to grow also

No worry, 24 is still very young. Of course, younger do the braces, the process will faster than older age.

my wisdom teeth also grow half way currently. Ok aa, can do Damon 3...


anyhow, that day, Dr put back the bite block... but one side only la... so now I have to chew in circular motion... like lembu pulak

very bad one lor...i went and see Dr yesterday, he did some adjustment on my lower teeth and put bite stop...wahlau...i didnt eat proper food since day 3 till now man...y la i kena bite stop....so kelian...so thin liao...cant eat ho liao also...argh....helpppppppppppp......then hor my teeth goyang goyang...i told Dr...he check check and goyang goyang...then he say normal laaa...wahlau wehhhhhhhhh............

goyong goyong is normal la.. mine and my friend who did braces also the same.. good la.. the teeth can move and align in right position.

the bite stop really give a suffer to thin ppl my friend say i am so thin till geli..

but it really goyang wor...just by using my tongue, it can move...but the other teeth didnt move wor...only 1......
yala...thin dy la...suffer la...everything cant eat...cant bite...sigh....

anyone have the address for the orthodontic clinics?

for those who so their braces pls post..coz i search so long stil never found..

so far i think cheapest that been recommended by forumers here is the one in kepong, RM4500+ for damon 3

The best way is, the visit few of Orthodontics and compare the prices. As the prices quote is base on your teeth situation and the package included.

I am confident with Dr. How because he is very knowledgable, still attending seminar to gain new knowledge (sometime he will off for few day to attend seminar or courses), been using damon 2 long time ago. Go to visit his clinic, you will see a lot certificate, testimonial, etc. So, i feel that he is not type of "business man" but is a pro on Orthodontics.

No doubt, with his pro..the prices a bit pro too haha..

I just want to make sure my teeth is done by someone really skillful to have better result (since been paid in few k)

i was thinking to wear braces, but since the dentist told me i have to remove 4 TEETH! waaa..so scared it will hurt..is it true that they will operate on ur tooth to get it out?

Operate ? not really la.. just normal extraction lo.. You may try on Damon system for luck? Check with Dr., if you want using Damon 3, still require to extract 4 teeth or not..
