is there a thread for Maybank VI? couldn't find it

Is it worth to dump M2C Amex & FCB and go all in for Maybank VI? Feels like it's better than Maybank World Mastercard which only awards airmiles. At least treat points can be redeemed for cash.

I'm not getting alot cash back from both cards, less than RM30 per month usually. However, I'm also not a frequent traveler but thought the treatpoints from VI is more flexible for miles redemption from different alliance + free lounge access, which comes in RM800 annual fee from 2nd year onwards.

This is my Amex transaction history taken in m2u website.
My Shopee transaction on 3Mar (Sunday) being cancelled and refund on 4Mar (Monday)
Will i still get the 5% for 3 Mar transaction?
If no, mean this amount will not counted in RM1000 quota (max RM50 CB), right?
If yes, mean the refund transaction on 4Mar will minus my TP?

you will get 5% rebate on the 3-Mar transaction
but you will get minus 5X TreatsPoints for the 4-March transaction

depends on your needs. I did hold M2C Platinum, FCB and VI. Dropped the M2C as rarely used and Amex don't accept in the places I go. So I fully focus on VI as per annum is 80k for a waiver. I do keep FCB as a backup for auto debit my spotify monthly and Netflix since is free for life in case one day I want to drop VI given the spending needs to be on the high side for a waiver.
