Nope. Maxis is not. I always use it to pay for my Maxis Fibre, Astro and Digi postpaid.

u need to learn and understand definition of Utility according to bank's t&c

even for general use, our country is not yet that advanced and developed which recognizes telcos as basic utility/necessity for its citizen.

Currently I have remain only the AMEX gold card, previously the other master card I had terminate for long time ago before SST.
My question now, how could I upgrade from gold to platinum and remain only AMEX card only? and where should I proceed for the upgrade request? Thanks in advance.

Based on my upgrade experience. Upgrading from Gold to Platinum = Apply for Platinum + Cancel current card + Transfer outstanding/TP.

Reapplying will risk enabling your VISA/Master back, I suggest you can try to upgrade the limit if necessary unless you are going for Premier. Gold and Platinum do not have much difference.

Seems doable from the previous posts, may try to livechat for faster replies/action.

Livechat with CS, they said: "Apologize this card will come with bundle we unable to cancel one card." Perhaps only for card holder before SST era?

Yes, the CS added: "Those cards approved after 1 September 2018 unable to cancel one of the cards."

Since you're currently a single card holder, you can try applying for only for AMEX Platinum, unless stated otherwise.
