Nevermind la, I still got other cards that can top up Boost, for Amex I already dumped RM950 in Grabpay. why RM50 only?don't because of the mission try so many times la... |

i think Maybank should not remove e-wallet and do something like others did, with FCFS so that more people spend their card rather than after today lost a lot of customers

QUOTE(CardNoob @ Jul 7 2019, 10:36 AM) you can imagine a lot of users leaving them because no longer able to top up e-wallet which is used to be common nowadays but others such as HLB is very hot now, even though some didn't get RM7 they still feel satisfy because they got chances to get more CB and bank also earn a lot due to the volume as compare to 150 winners only per hour. That's non-bumi marketing vs bumi marketing mindset |

QUOTE(engyr @ Jul 7 2019, 10:46 AM) Back to pre-ewallet era. Most of my expenses belonged to online shopping, petrol and grocery. I will reduce usage of e-wallet instead of stop using maybank cards. QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jul 7 2019, 10:49 AM) A lot of people will still use M2 Visa/MC/Amex to top up Bigpay/Boost though no rebate/reward. It will be equivalent to cost 0.2% only for Balance transfer. Half of credit card users in Malaysia are not able to settle credit card in full! It is a better way to get cash than cash advance, >0.2% BT or personal loan! yes i know can use on non e-wallet but less volume as compare to now, they still charge the same rate on merchant with e-wallet or non but now will be less userssmart bank will think of the future, dumb bank will only thinking to stop the future QUOTE(digidigi @ Jul 7 2019, 10:49 AM) i don't understand this sentence... mind elaborate more? This post has been edited by tan_aniki: Jul 7 2019, 10:54 AM |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jul 7 2019, 10:59 AM) Though no reward/rebate, smart user may be willing to spend RM2-RM6 cashout cost, assume 0.2%, but 50 days interest free period. 0.2%x12=2.4%, still less than FD %. smart users will cash out on those 0.3%/0.5%/1% unlimited CB to do what u said, not Maybank anymore lo... |

QUOTE(engyr @ Jul 7 2019, 01:26 PM) Not many people will do so. Simply reason that I top up boost with Amex because of double rewards (5% from Amex + shake rewards from boost). Between 5% from Amex and shake rewards, I will opt for Amex. But if one day later maybank reduce the benefit till cashback for dining only (like before 2017), I believe that many customers will cancel the card. QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Jul 7 2019, 01:43 PM) Boost will lose customers instead of Maybank. you can use others with CB features to reload Boost for more shake rewards later when u spend, so loser is still on MBB sideMany people was attracted to use Boost because of Maybank CC CB. QUOTE(Nama saya Amad @ Jul 7 2019, 01:44 PM) QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jul 7 2019, 01:49 PM) you must take both 1st, then you can cancel the visa/master, i have cancel my visa many months ago bcos of SST |

QUOTE(beLIEve @ Jul 7 2019, 02:07 PM) No. Only those applied/approved before Sept 1 2018 can cancel. customer can oblige to cancel one of them bcos of SST, unless bank can absorb the SST but they can'tI don't think they care losing customers of ewallet. Very sure they've done their analytics before the recent changes to cashback. QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Jul 7 2019, 02:11 PM) For customers that never owe cc money (majority of them are calculative), they will lose interest on Boost. i'm also never owe cc for additional interest and calculative, but Boost is one of my favThose like to cash advance, Boost is still a good option. QUOTE(westlife @ Jul 7 2019, 05:06 PM) If reload e-wallet today using FCB, will still get any rebate? or it will be counted as no rebate since FCB is awarded rebate based on posting date instead of transaction date line M2U card? MBB based on transaction date but need to post within this month to get this month CB.just that we are not sure whether transaction on e-wallet before 8 July still entitle for CB or not, so just try without harm, those money still urs |
