the drawback of using PCT (type r piston) on b16a heads is knocking (premature combustion)..BUT of course it can be counter using E manage and such...all in all TUNING is the key....

cahill,
agreed on (on the road tuning) as we can feel the difference real time compared to dyno, and the best part is you are the one driving it. nevertheless, the term no replacement for displacement shud also be kept in mind...or there will be more money spent and less performance gain.... Added on July 4, 2007, 5:05 pmmoon, what type of car security u r using? captor? This post has been edited by mohd_halimy: Jul 4 2007, 05:05 PM |

i believe the best will be captor plus 2 way alarm.... sigh...i still remember even with immobilizer and all....this freakin mat rempit or mat whatever still manage to scratch my paints...farker.. |

QUOTE(mohd_halimy @ Jul 4 2007, 12:05 PM) hi guys, FD Type-R? Start from Rm200k?? my honda frens told me we are getting the FD type R soon, but expected price would be 200K for a start...kinda high eh? at that time we will be facing a dilemma between the rex, evos and hondas...sigh..this needs and wants is killing me...arrrghh.. QUOTE(egiewan @ Jul 4 2007, 02:39 PM) Hahaha...only true Hondarians will but the Type R FD. For that kinda money I would get a Subaru mannnnn Traitor! QUOTE(Cahill @ Jul 4 2007, 02:44 PM) honda is for those die hard NA fan. scooby evo are too common, i still prefer s2000 & dc5. Even the spec in paper look inferior to those turbo cars, but when in track then its a different stories Well said. All the Type-R are not losing to any Turbo-car on track. QUOTE(egiewan @ Jul 4 2007, 03:05 PM) Yeah laaa...but how often you hit the tracks also? Hahahaha....I'm talking about a practical and powerful car. DC5 and S2000 are my favourites too but my heart is still with a turbo-powered car Try this: Impreza stuck in jam while you watch the fuel needle. QUOTE(moon* @ Jul 4 2007, 03:42 PM) ehehe.. i have 2 car in my mind now. Yours is EK9 meh? 1 NA, 1 Turbo na = ek9 turbo = impreza v8. i have always fancy an AWD vehicle. but for now.. i love my ek9 , if future gonna keep it a NA monster.. most likely wacking in a b18cr |
